How do you match color when filling crack on counter top?

If you can’t find the exact color you can get a lighter shade and a darker shade than mix the two until the color is exact.

Can it be used to fill in a chipped hard wood floor?

I used Seam-Fill products only on a formica countertop, which is their intended use. They make an excellent, tough patch, and you can blend colors to match. And it is tough and hard once cured. The Seam-Fill solvent is MEK, which you can also get at a hardware store. You probably want to get some to thin the product a little bit, and to clean up. Never tried it on wood, but I suspect it would bond reasonably well to really dry, hard wood. Plenty tough to hold up on a floor. However, matching color would be a challenge, and matching grain pretty near impossible.Hope this helps.
