Buy it ! Itโs worth it
This pot is amazing. I am so glad I purchased it. I was able to finish my wedding invitations with no trouble. Wax melted right away! It doesnโt come with the spoon..

Needs a ladle but still a great purchase!
It heats up, the wax melts, voila! Better than a glue gun and less messy once you get used to it. Mine didnโt come with a ladle, I already had one. So no big deal.

Works well!
Heats up the wax quickly but wont burn you to touch it for too long. Little messy but when dealing with wax it is expected.

Not optimized for Sealing wax
A nice little hot-pot, best guess on material is Bakelite with a coated metal pan. The manufacturer's "How to use it" indicates it was built to be used in a beauty salon to heat the glue for hair extensions, so spooning out wax to seal an invitation is like spooning out of a fry-pan. Not the first time I was happy to use a gadget "off label"

Usage
I use this to melt sealing wax for letters. I drop a bunch of wax pellets (you can mix colors if you like). It does not smoke but take about 5+ minutes or so to start to melt the wax. One spoonful is all you need to pour for a great seal. The bowl is a bit shallow, so getting the spoon all the way submerged is a TINY bit of work. Maybe because I am not filling the bowl completely with wax, so I can minimize the amount I have in there at any one time. It also has a wax tube holder if you don't use pellets. It's great compared to the wick type wax sticks.

Works great
It really does exactly what it says, melts the wax and keeps it warm while using. I did expect it to be a bit bigger but it still works great for what I wanted.

Not for wax
This is not as advertised. It is a hair extension glue melter. Extremely disappointing. No where on this item does it say for wax seals so just advertise what it actually is and give us the option of buying it or not buying it based on the actual product.
