As with any of these items it can take some experimentation to get the correct angle of contact with the stovetop in order to do the job while insuring you don’t scratch the surface. But it is no more difficult with this one than with other similar products. I have really been happy with this scraper for cleaning my cooktop along with the Ceramabryte cleaner, so I am ok with what I received, but doesn't make sense to not be able to just buy blades. You can also use this tool for scraping paint of windows. Its a great little invention.
