Fitted but with effort into a LazySpa 'Egg'
Bought this for a Lazy Spa Egg (Think they are all the same). The metal shaft was too long for housing so had to grind it down by about 3-4mm. Couldn't use the old plastic one as was too thick. The rubber grommets at either end had actually failed on my old Impeller causing it to make contact with sides of bore and grind to a halt. i thought new grommets that came with impeller would be too small but actually work fine. Took maybe 15-20 mins. I bought a seal kit seperatly which I would recommend, my seals had obviosuly seen better days when i took pump apart. All in all, 'Egg' is now absoutlly silent and very happy with outcome.

Did the job, with some slight modification
If you are reading this then you clearly know why you need one of these. Obviously a cheaper copy but really important replacement part. I am no expert, simply followed a DIY video on the internet. Received item in good time. As I had the faulty impeller removed already, I was able to compare. The only clear difference was the central rod, which was about 5mm longer than the rod on the original. It therefore didn't fit in to the pump correctly. I decided to cut the rod with a hack saw to the same size. It then fitted perfectly. On re-assembling everything and fitting new seals, the lazy-Spa Egg started working again! Scored 3/5 as had to make my own modifications.

Works well, also had to cut the rod...
As with all of the other reviews, I also had to cut the rod by about 4mm. Replaced my broken impeller after watching a couple of YouTube videos, nothing too taxing. Just remember to REMOVE YOUR BLACK SEAL FROM CAPS FROM INSIDE YOUR HOT TUB after you've fitted it! I forgot and thought the egg was still faulty! It worked a treat after this!

Had to modify slightly
Bought to replace impeller in my Lay-Z spa hot tub pump which is a few years old now (grey egg). I found the metal rod was a bit long compared to the one I removed, so had to cut it down with a hacksaw so please bear that in mind if you are purchasing. You might want to add a hacksaw to your basket if you haven't already got one!

This WILL work with 403M, see my engineering note haha
A reviewer named Alison said it doesn't work with Intex spa but that's probably because they didn't purge the air in the system. IT WILL NOT WORK IF THERES AIR IN THE PUMP ASSEMBLY. This DOES work with Intex 403M HOWEVER this impeller is 16mm in diameter while the original impeller is 18mm (less diameter means less torque which means it's harder for this impeller to overcome trapped air in system) The blades on this impeller are also half the width but longer than original 403M. What's does this mean? It means less water circulation than original. ALSO the 403M shaft diameter is 0.125" (1/8") while this impeller shaft diameter is a bit smaller, too small to use with original rubber grommets. You must use provided rubber grommets (not original) for this impeller to work. Because of the smaller blades and smaller impeller body diameter, this impeller will have fewer RPMs which means it doesn't have the same flow rate as original. It moves enough water to not cause an E90 error, but not quite enough to keep water at 104F. Mine is staying at about 102F with 40-50F ambient temperatures. This is just a temporary fix until you can order a replacement pump assembly from intex (they're currently out of stock due to covid). This impeller is very quiet, more quiet than original. You can barely hear it running. To purge the system of air after replacement, pulse the filter off and on. Don't let it run too long with the system unpurged, otherwise, you'll get the E90 and have to power cycle the system. You can tell if the system is purged once the operational noise gets substantially quieter, it's a bit noisey on initial startup. Another truck to help purge is to rapidly squeeze the rubber hose going into the pump assembly (bottom most hose). I had to pick up the entire plastic housing of the entire pumping unit and gently hit it against the ground(concrete) while pulsing the filter off and on. It was frustrating, but it eventually worked!

Does work, but not a permanent fix
If you're looking for a replacement impeller for the pump inside the Salupsa Bestway "EGG" type hot tub heater, this does do the job, although I've replaced 3 impellers in the last year alone so not a permanent fix. This particular impeller comes with 2 stainless spindles, each a different length. Maybe the manufacturer was picking up on the fact that people were shortening the spindle to make it fit. I still use the longer one and simply punch a hole right through each of the end rubber bushings, which then makes the spindle fit fine. Note that the end rubber bushings that you get with this item are not the right size to fit in the pump housing so save the originals. In the case where the originals failed, I wrapped these bushings in Teflon tape to pack them to full diameter then installed in the housing and they work fine. It's important that the end bushings are functioning properly to keep the spindle centered in the pump housing otherwise you'll hear the telltale "clacking" sound which is the beginning of the end for the impeller. I've pulled the pump and swapped the impeller out so many times I have it down to about a 10 minute job now. Literally ordered extras of these so they are on hand when the current one decides it's tapping out.

Great replacement for Coleman SaluSpa Impeller
The inflatable Coleman SaluSpa hot tub is great, but has on significant design flaw. Inside the green egg that houses the heater and electronics, there is the pump that circulates the water. In order to save 7 cents, Coleman decided to go with a plastic shaft for the impeller in the pump. This works fine for a few months, but inevitably wears out and the plastic shaft breaks leading to the dreaded E02 error. This impeller is the solution. I ordered it thinking it looked close, but wasn't sure if it would fit in the SaluSpa's pump (on the bottom side of the pump/heater egg). It fits perfectly! The only caveat is the shaft is about 1 cm too long. I used a dremel to cut the shaft to fit (used the rubber shaft-holder pieces already in the pump) and it works like a dream. It's quieter that the original part. So happy I found this solution.
