Good flavor

Some reviewers said they didn't have a strong enough flavor. Could be but I still like them. Kind of pricy but there's a lot of them.

Friends(Family) from the Netherlands turned us on to these. I have yet to see them in any store in America. They're just really good, and you'll be glad you got them. The mint shell is subtle and the natural licorice flavored center is robust.

So I love black licorice. Thought these were really cool because they don't sell them in the United States. I purchased a box for me and my father to enjoy and we do like them. But it's more of a licorice mint more on the mint side. Has a strange combination with the black licorice and mint but it is enjoyable but you can't eat a whole pack in one sitting like you can with the other flavors.

So, here's my take on this. I was hesitant to buy because, well, this isn't like a single tube of these things. Its a case. How would I get rid of them if they weren't any good? But I loved them! I agree they aren't as sweet as black jelly beans, but they sure aren't like the non-sweet licorice you find in Europe. They were 75% the way to jelly bean. What I liked was the sharp crunch of the bite. The shell of the jelly bean is, after all, where the flavor is, and the shell of these is great! So, I ate my case and am buying another one.

I did not know that ammonium chloride was an actual flavor ingredient in some licorice. Weird. The licorice taste is not as prominent as the glass cleaner. These will last me a while. 😉

Je me suis fais plaisir en prenant quasiment tous les parfums, ils sont tous excellents. Je ferai juste une remarque quant au réglisse, je ne retrouve exactement le goût de mon enfance, peut-être dû au fait que la recette a changée pour les végétariens ?
