I love this bat.
I don't know that it's necessarily for everyone, because others on my team tend to prefer composite bats. But I get considerably more pop out of this one than I do theirs'. I play in a USSSA-regulated league with 52 COR balls and I use the 30 oz. bat. The endload is just enough to be meaningful without it being overpowering or awkward to swing. It actually feels lighter to me than some endloaded 28 oz. bats from Miken and Worth, for example. I consistently hit the ball HARD with this bat. It sounds like a cheap aluminum bat at contact, but it performs at least comparably to a composite bat (and in my particular case, better).

It's a dinger!
This thing rips. I have 3 other guys on my team always asking to bat with this bad boy. Easy to rip it to the outfield or even over the fence.

No change, but still great
I will still say this is the best (legal) bat you may use in a coed league under standard city rules. Super durable, generous sweet-spot and not overly top-heavy. Love this bat.

Dingers
This bat is for hitting dingers! Single hitters beware! If you want a bat that hits dingers like Big Al this is the bat for you! ENJOY!

One Star
This bat cracked and dented after 2 games. Not worth the money.

Different than aluminum and composite. I like it so far.
Owned for a month now. Compared to an aluminum bat it sounds deader. The sweet spot doesn't have as much of a trampoline effect like aluminum. This bat is end loaded and this is my first end loaded bat. It actually feels heavier than it's stated weight. It's the swing weight that feels different. If you use a 28oz, consider a 26 or 27 oz. I tend to pop up a bit more until I got used to it. I think this is due to the end loading. So far I like it but am probably going to buy a 2018 DeMarini Ultimate Weapon to compare and then keep one. Can't comment on durability, have only used it 5 times but will update this review when I have more data. 8/3/18 update, so I bought the Demarini Ultimate Weapon. That bat feels terrible. Doesn't absorb the shock of the ball, hurts a little even with Lizard Skins and gloves. Doesn't travel as far for same effort. The Steel bat is much much better. I was a bit skeptical since no one else makes a steel bat that I am aware of, but I plan to stick with this Steel bat for a year and then reevaluate. The ball travels further with the Steel bat compared to the Ultimate Weapon. 12/15/20 update. I used this bat for 2 years and it never let me down. Better than aluminum bats and allowed in all the leagues I play in. I ended up buying a new 2018 28 oz recently since I didn't like the graphics of the 2020 model. Highly recommended if you play in leagues that don't allow composites.
