High quality
Nutiva Organic Virgin Coconut Oil has become a staple in our home. The quality is excellent, with a fresh coconut scent and clean taste that works well in cooking, baking, and smoothies. I appreciate that itโs organic, cold-pressed, and unrefined, so it retains its natural flavor and benefits. Beyond the kitchen, weโve also used it as a moisturizer for skin and hair with great results. The consistency is smooth, melts easily, and the packaging keeps it fresh. Itโs a versatile product that offers great value for the quality. I would definitely purchase it again and recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality coconut oil.

High quality, great flavor, versatile use
Pros: - Noticeably better taste compared to regular coconut oil. - Cold-pressed, unrefined, and organic quality. - Very versatileโgreat for cooking, baking, and making granola. - Can also be used for hair and lip conditioning. - Useful for DIY oral care routines (e.g., oil pulling / whitening support). - A little goes a long way. Cons: - Slightly pricey compared to standard coconut oil options. Overall, this is a high-quality coconut oil that stands out in both taste and performance. Itโs extremely versatile in the kitchen and for personal care uses, and the quality is immediately noticeable. The only drawback is the higher price, but the value is there given how many uses it has.

Great taste (very mild).
I love this product. Will buy again. This is how I ingest it so far... 1) Eat a direct spoonfull (I tolerate it) 2) Add a spoonfull to my morning, hot oat brand cereal along with cinnamon and honey (I love it) 3) Add a table spoon of coconut oil to my morning tea. It looks like an oil slick in my tea but tastes good (I like it) 4) Spread a spoonfull on my waffle then add cinnamon and then drizzle some honey on top of that (I love it) 5) On a slice of bread. I microwave the bread for 8 seconds then spread coconut oil on it (I like it) 6) When I cook on top of the stove I cook with, what appears to be, a lower quality coconut oil purchased locally I will Google "ways to eat coconut oil" to ad more diversity to my current methods. I suggest others do the same. SIDE NOTE - Anyone over 35 should also consider adding Taurine (L-Taurine) to their daily supplements. My best guess would be people 35-44 years old take 500 - 1000 mg per day. 45 - 54 1000 - 2000 mg. 55 and up 2000 - 3000 mg per day. If you regularly and intensely work out add an additional 1000 mg just before your work out. Of course do your own research and consult with your doctor. At a minimum Google "Taurine" and read about this inexpensive yet absolutely amazing amino-acid supplement. Great for preventing muscle cramps and twitches. Also great for the heart and for the brain. You may wish to start with only taking 500 mg just before bedtime for a few days to see how you react to it then consider increasing the does to 1000mg (40 and over crowd). I take 1000 mg just before I go to bed and another 500 - 1000 mg midday (close to an empty stomach). I had no idea it would improve my overall mood too but it has after a few weeks. I initally took it with magnesium to help stop my foot cramps which it did the first day. People over 35 do yourself a favor and read about Taurine. Youngsters don't need to supplement much of anything. I am 48 but look 38 and feel 33. ALSO - consider taking 400 to 1000mg of potassium per day (RDA is approx 3500mg but you get some from food). I pop two tablets with each meal, one just before the gym, one when I go to bed (99mg per pill). AND Consider taking 200 - 400mg of magnesium. Any form EXCEPT magnesium oxide. Research shows only 4% of magnesium OXIDE is absorbed which is why it is the cheapest form on the market. I take 200mg just before bed along with 99mg potassium and 1000mg taurine. I take 133mg during the day normally just before I walk into the gym along with 99mg potassium and 1000 mg Taurine. Changed my life! Never had another cramp. I sleep and dream as deeply as I did in my 20s. My brain is as quick and as sharp as it has ever been.

Great size, great coconut oil
I love Coconuts. I love coconut oil even more. Nutiva is a great brand for coconut oil. I really like this size container. I use the 54 oz. tub in the kitchen, and this one for topical usage. PEOPLE (who don't use coconut oil) STOP USING VEGETABLE OIL. If you are willing to skip junk food twice out of the week, then you can spend the money you save to buy coconut oil- it smells amazing, it cooks amazing, it's delicious, snow white, and is great for chapped lips. We can all help to put an end to this ridiculous myth of saturated fat being bad and unsaturated fat being good. The myths about fat making you fat and other diet-related myths perpetuate the 60-year old lie that high cholesterol/high fat is bad. Eat fat! It's delicious, nutritious, and won't harm your brain the way many vegetable oils/some seed oils do.(Unless it's fat from animals that have been eating things outside of their nature-intended diet... cows eating corn for example...then the fat is filled with toxins and are no good.)Eat coconut oil and you won't have to worry about any of that. (What, did you think that you can eat all the omega-6 you want? Do you like inflammation and other nasty long-term side effects from having an imbalance of Omega-6/omega-3? Trust me, it's worth a google.) Here was my original review of Nutiva Coconut oil in the larger size: I had high expectations when ordering Nutiva Coconut Oil because I had recently discovered that America has been lied to about unsaturated fats and saturated fats for years, and that if I want to lose weight, then I should stick to what my taste buds naturally love- Saturated fat! Nutiva Coconut Oil has gone above and beyond meeting my expectations. I am blown away! It satisfied what I expected: 1. The smell is pleasant and sweet, bold and aromatic. 2. The taste is full-bodied and rich. 3. Snow White in color, smooth and creamy texture. I could definitely see myself using a pat of this on my toast instead of butter. 4. After cooking it, the aroma of coconut fills the room. 5. The high heat tolerance of coconut oil is wonderful. It cooked my steak and burger perfectly. No longer will I deal with the olive oil smoking on the pan which indicates trans fat having been created. (although olive oil is good for you, it's still partly unsaturated so it really shouldn't be heated to a high temperature like during cooking. It's better than poly-unsaturated, but saturated will always be better than unsaturated fats- mono or poly.) Going BEYOND my expectations: A. Out of curiosity last night, I dabbed some coconut oil on my chapped lips as soon as I opened the jar and laid eyes on the lovely white butter in front of me. This morning, as I'm writing this review, I lick my lips and feel that my lips are now smooth, soft, and not chapped at all! I am so amazed! That has never happened; it's like magic! B. I just read that coconut oil may help to prevent and treat dementia and Alzheimer's. I am going to tell my parents immediately! If I could give ten stars, I would!

The Good Quality You Deserve
This is my preferred choice for cooking. I even use it in my coffee, although it's not as flavorful as I would prefer. Others in the household say they can taste the coconut flavor, so that's probably a me thing. I've been using this brand for a while and never any complaints

80 Awesome ways to use Coconut Oil
Great product, fast ship. We use it in almost everything we cook, and here are 80 ways to use it. Personal Hygiene/Body: 1. For a deeper treatment, rub in a tablespoon of coconut oil onto your dry scalp and gently work through to the ends. Put a shower cap on to prevent transfer onto bed linens and leave on overnight. 7. Hair Gel/Defrizzer โ rub a little between your palms and either scrunch into hair (for curly hair) or finger comb in through from scalp to ends (for wavy/straight hair). 8. The fat in coconut oil also aids in the absorption of vitamins, minerals and amino acids, making you healthier all around. 25. Fitness - coconut oil has been proven to stimulate your metabolism, improve thyroid function, and escalate energy levels, all of which help decrease your unwanted fat, while increasing muscle. 26. Nose bleeds - coconut oil can prevent nose bleeding that is caused by sensitivity to weather such as extreme hotness and extreme coldness. This condition happens when the nasal passages become dry because of cold or dry air resulting to burns and cracks in the mucus membranes so bleeding happens. Doing this will strengthen and protect the capillaries in the nasal passages. A Vitamin C supplement will also help prevent nose bleeding. 27. Well this was on facebook CBN News Coconut Oil Touted as Alzheimer's Remedy: Steve Newport's Alzheimer's has slowed considerably over the years. Some of his symptoms even reversed, thanks to the unlikely treatment prescribed by his wife, a physician. Dr. Newport became determined to help her husband after the severity of his disease was discovered through an Alzheimer's test in which the person being tested is asked to draw a picture of a clock. When she tried a new coconut oil regime, in only 3 weeks she began to reverse the signs of Alzheimer's. "He was not able to run. He was able to run again," she recalled. "He could not read for about a year and a half, but after two or three months he was able to read." "Instead of being very sluggish, not talking very much in the morning, he would come out in the morning with energy, talkative, and joking, and he could find his water and his utensils," Dr. Newport said. Great Stuff for a Number of Things
I was almost put off using coconut oil entirely, after purchasing another brand (I think NOW was it, but different packaging). It came hard as a rock, yellow-looking and smelled pretty foul (almost sickly-sweet) - certainly nothing like coconut. I literally was chipping it out of the jar, and melting it was near impossible. Eventually, I realized that I was dealing with rancid oil, so it's pretty fortunate that I didn't use it all that often. Yuck. After watching a view Youtube videos for hair care, I noticed everyone's was white, creamy and you could easily scoop it out of the jar, so I decided to give it another shot and purchased Nutiva in February 2011. I'm so glad I did, too, because this stuff is great and for a number of things, some of which caught me off guard. - Cooking - I enjoy cooking with it now and then, especially with my quick-fix quesadillas when I don't have time to cook anything else. However, it doesn't work on everything due to the subtle yet nutty flavor it can give, but I do like it for frying. Your place will smell like coconut when you fry with it, as a warning. I do love how fast it heats up, though. - Hair - I originally intended to use this for hair and as a deep conditioning mask. I am biracial, with 3A/3b and a tinge of 3C hair. While I usually prefer to have it relaxed, I decided to give it a break due to lack of funds. The hard water we have here has been wreaking havoc on my hair and it's been in need of a trim for a while, but this stuff has greatly improved things, and it even can be used (lightly) to help tame frizz to some degree as a leave-in. My ringlets are back and the best-looking they've been since I can remember, and all I've been using since then is just Aphogee Green Tea spray, coconut oil and occasional argan oil. - Skin - I consistently use this on my body and at night as skin cream. For the face, you only need a tiny, tiny amount. It also helps to tame down blemishes, which is a bonus, and leaves skin glowy. Last year or the year before, I also developed what looked like flesh-colored moles, which I thought were blemishes at first, but I can't be certain. Nothing I did would get rid of them though, until I started using the oil, which I found odd, but at least it worked! All in all, my skin has dramatically improved using this, with the help of some other products, and I don't feel I have to wear foundation. - Pets - I give 1/2 tbls. to my cats and 1 tbls. to my dog a few times a week to help maintain their coats and keep their skin nice. It seems to be doing great and they've stopped driving me mental with scratching. I also tried it in hopes of helping my dog with her seizures. While it's not a drastic improvement, they have been fewer in between, which may or may not have a connection. I just mix it in their food maybe 2-3 days a week (ask your vet about how often, especially if they have health problems), and they love it. Even my female cat, who's picky about what she'll eat licks at the oil before she munches away. - Warts - Short of the suspicious-looking things on my face at one point, I don't get moles, warts, or even freckles. However, I did get one whopping wart on the top of my big toe last year, which nothing would get rid of. I tried apple cider vinegar, wart patches and gels - you name it; I tried it. Not only did it hurt like crazy and work slowly, but it never got rid of it. All I did get was a scar and a lot of grief, only for it to return a few weeks later. When I started using coconut oil on the skin, I realized one day, like with my face, that my wart that had grown back was getting smaller. I kept watching it and finally realized the connection. I started using bandaids and applied a glob of oil on the spot before bed and then really started noticing results. This wart was the size of a chick pea (sorry to be gross lol), but now you can't see anything. I finally looked things up and realized that it was the acid in the oil that attacks lipid-coated virus cells, such as what's associated with HPV (warts), so I guess it makes sense. I was surprised though! I can tell due to the texture of the skin that it's not 100% gone (roots), but it still getting better and I'm not embarrassed anymore. It took about a month, but the more painful options took just as long and this is pain-free. So, it's something to try! Love this stuff and can't stop raving about it. I'm going to purchase more soon in this size to keep one in my kitchen and one in my bathroom again, plus a larger one for the mutts. The bathroom one still has plenty in it, despite me using it near-daily.

Great for your hair and body - inside and out.
This is a good deal for the price. A jar of coconut oil at my local grocery store is $10. So two jars for $15 is a great savings. I wanted two jars so I could have one to cook with/eat and one to use for the body. Coconut oil in itself is a solid at room temperature. It becomes a liquid at 76 degrees. When it comes shipped to you, it will likely be a solid, especially if it is fall or winter and you live in the north. I bought this because it is organic and cold pressed. Coconut oil is a great product. I started reading about it when my mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. There is information out there that says it can help delay or reverse Alzheimer's. Do your own research on that if you have a family member with Alzheimer's. I would like to prevent the chance of getting Alzheimer's so this will be a product that will be in my house for years to come. Your body does not metabolize coconut oil like it does other oils. Calorie-for-calorie, it is not the same as eating a tablespoon of olive or vegetable oil. It goes straight to your live and goes where needed, it is not stored as fat to turn into fat. Sometimes I just eat a tablespoon of the oil in the morning - it makes me feel full so I eat less during the day, and makes gives me some energy. The taste of the product is pleasant. You have to get used to downing the oil - some people may have issues with the texture of eating it straight. If you add it to a smoothie that has ice in it, it will curdle...which can also cause texture issues. So if you add it to a smoothie, add it before adding anything cold and mixing it. I have added a little chocolate to a tablespoon of oil, froze and then eaten it. It is pretty good, and the texture is better than just downing it. For the body, coconut oil is great for your hair. You need to put it in your hair, let it sit for 30 minutes and then wash it twice to get all the oil out of it. You could cover your hair with a cap and then heat the hair on low for 15 minutes to speed up the process. It will make your hair smooth and healthier. It needs to sit on your head for 30 minutes so it can have time to open the cuticle and penetrate the cuticle. Since I started using coconut oil in my hair, my hair is much smoother, shinier and healthier. I also put coconut oil on my body after coming out of the shower. I used to use a popular yellow face cream that is a 'drink for your skin', but find that I much prefer the coconut oil to moisturize my face and body. It is also a good natural lubricant in the bedroom. :D Instead of using vegetable or olive oil when popping your popcorn, use coconut oil instead. The oil is much healthier for you, and you don't really taste the coconut. I much prefer the flavor of the coconut oil. Add a little salt and you are good to go. I have bought the brand at my local grocery store, and it is also organic and cold-pressed - I don't notice much difference between the two as far as flavor or quality. I think both are a good product. Just be sure to buy coconut oil that is organic and cold-pressed when buying coconut oil. I think this is a great brand. As far as ordering and shipping - ordering was easy, it shipped in its own box and came to me the next day. I was very satisfied with that process.

Great Coconut Oil for Cooking
Iโm very happy with this Nutiva Organic Coconut Oil. Iโve been using it primarily for cooking and have had a great experience with it. It works really well for sautรฉing, baking, and adding to different recipes. I like the fact that itโs organic, cold-pressed, and unrefined, which makes it a great option for anyone looking for a more natural coconut oil. The texture is nice and smooth, and itโs easy to scoop and use. I also appreciate the convenient 444 ml sizeโitโs large enough to last a while without taking up too much space in the kitchen. The quality seems excellent, and it has become a regular part of my cooking routine. Iโve used it in everything from baked goods to savory dishes, and it has worked great. Excellent quality, versatile, and great for everyday cooking. Iโm very happy with this coconut oil and would definitely buy it again. 5 stars!

Great product
Bought this as it kept on being advertised all over social media. It is packed in a plastic jar but it still lasted really well. Compared to the organic options on the market (which I have tried a few and usually they were packed in glass containers), this smelled and tasted a lot more like how I imagined coconut oil to be. I have used it a lot for cooking and baking and it has not disappointed. I have purchased the small jar as well as the large one (with the large I had an issue with a short expiration date, but upon contacting the seller everything was sorted) and will be purchasing them again. This product worked well for me so I will buy it again.

Nutritious nourishing essential good fat
The oil is of fresh stock. It tastes yummy. I have been using Nutiva coconut oil for years now. But this time I ordered this big 54 ounce jar. And I am going to continue to order this . I have one table spoon oil off the spoon four days a week. I temper or garnish south Indian style vegetables and gravy with this and tastes yummy. It is tasty nutritious, an essential source of good fat, antifungal anti bacterial . Love it.
