Poldark: The Complete Fourth Season Masterpiece

I am completely obsessed with this show and it's characters and have been since Season 1 first aired. Ross and Demelza Poldark are my favorite characters and the two actors who portray them, Aidan Turner and Eleanor Tomlinson, have incredible chemistry! This type of chemistry is often lacking but they have it and it feels real to viewers and thus makes the story more believable. Serious acting chops can be said for all the characters of this highly rated series and it's easy to fall in love with all of them! While Season 1 will always be my favorite, Season 4 is next on my list with loads of drama and plenty of romance! I highly recommend this BlueRay dvd for it's high quality and because it's the UK edition, which includes more scenes (many important tie together scenes) then what is being broadcast on PBS. While I donate to PBS and feel it's important to support the channel, I am disappointed they cut so much of the story out.

I enjoyed the original Poldark series as did my parents. We all watched it when it aired in the late 60s or early 70s. The remake of the series is just as entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed it and was sorry that it ended after only five series. The season 4 set (I have the BlueRay) is wonderful. I actually have all five seasons. When I get in a Poldark mood, I can always watch it. The cast for this series remake is outstanding. It is just as strong as the cast in the original series. It is fun seeing Robin Ellis, Poldark in the original series, having a recurring role in the remake series. If you are a fan of the show, purchasing Season 4 of Poldark is well worth the investment.

Have all the seasons of Poldark, and you can tell a good series that after 5 seasons, you still want more.

I purchased season 4 to continue with this wonderful saga. I truly enjoyed the first 3 seasons and the episodes of season 4 I have watched so far have not disappointed! The story lines and characters are wonderful. The acting is tremendous. The cinematography and costumes are also second to none. I was unsure about purchasing the first season but once I dove into Poldark I became addicted. PBS has done a wonderful job with this drama series and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

The Poldark series is well written, filmed in a beautiful setting, and portrayed by an incredibly talented cast. The storyline is both adventure and drama filled; it is highly addictive. Cornwall’s beauty is breathtaking. Poldark’s actors have been perfectly cast to bring their characters to life, and to lead their audience back in time.

One of the few series I can watch several times without boredom. Actors are all wonderful and the background music and scenery can't be beat. Have liked it enough to buy the books and working on them. This series is so professional and superior to anything on TV. Right up there if not exceeding Downton Abby. (I didn't buy Downton but did by Poldark)

I have followed this series from the beginning, adding each season to my library. The character development is excellent, and the research in to what is correct for the period in terms of speech, stage sets, clothing, etc is excellent. Usually you can spot all sorts of Hollywood-esque liberties taken, but not so in this series. I especially enjoy seeing the clothing fashions and interiors progress through the fashions and styles of each time period as the story progresses.

Season 4 for was sooooo good! There are a lot of things going on and ALOT of sadness! I'm so in love with these characters and I'm very sad that Season 5 will be the final season =( Mel 🖤🐶🐺🐾

Poldark is a great favourite. This series is excellent.

Excelente adaptación, muy bien situada y ambientada a finales del siglo XVII. Las actuaciones merecen la pena.
