What Volt has? 220 or 110

120 volts in the United States. It's on the label on the underside of the blades. Also, it's 45 watts. It is a common mistake for people to confuse 120 volts and 110 volts - 240 volts is often referred to as 220 volts. Perhaps it has to do with the fact that the range of voltage that an appliance can use is stated on specifications as 110-120 volts.

can we use this product in Europe?

They have European/Travel voltage adapters here on Amazon so you can use American electrical devices in many different countries, otherwise our stuff no workie in systems were plugs and voltages are not the same as ours here in the States.

does it come with a guard?

No.....it doesn't come with any guards....

Does anyone recommend this for long matted cat hair?

My cat has 3 layers of hair and we have tried using the more quiet shavers which work fine for normal trims but nothing work faster on knots or severe mats. It shaves through inches of matted hair without getting stuck in the mats, stopping, tearing the skin or frightening the cat. He loves to run over when I hold up the shaver. I use the #10 blade for all my cuts, even our older cat with one layer of long hair. The shave is over in minutes without having to harness them, they really like this shaver. Best buy!

Great clippers

This two speed clipper really runs smooth and quiet. The dogs barely notice it running. We did have to let it cool down a couple of times doing a full cut on a doodle. My daughter is a hairdresser and she recommended these clippers as she prefers this brand over others she's tried.

Horrible shaver

Gets too hot fast. Returned once to get another, just to find out the second one was just as bad. Pulls my dogs hair and barely cuts. Do not waste your time. Want to return the second time but amazon did not offer a return. Now I am stuck with the horrible experience shaver.

Gotta get you one!

I had one of these for twenty years used it all the time. It finally had some issues, so I bought another and keeping the old one for parts! Best pet care investment ever! Will pay for itself in three grooms, and if you don’t mind teaching yourself on your own dog, you will thank yourself many times over!

No lo utilizo profesionalmente, tengo un viejo pastor inglés y la ocupo para su corte anual, el rendimiento es óptimo corta cualquier tipo de nudo , el mango se calienta bastante después de 15 minutos de uso pero corta súper bien, no he probado otros modelos pero para la cantidad de pelo que tiene mi perro me pareció excelente opción
