Does a 49 inch tv work on it

Yes, 49inch is no problem, I use a 55inch Samsung which fits perfectly, the stand includes everything you need.

This will fit any size you want, I have a 56" that is way to big for you eyes, think a 40 to 42" would be ideal but it takes anything, it's very good
