**Q: How long do these last? Is there any special maintenance or storage required that the description doesn't mention?**
A: 1/2 a use!  It exploded in my grill!  Temp was set at 300.  Had 3 slabs of Salmon on it. Heard an explosion, and salt was all over my grill.  Now I know I would never use it uncovered!

**Q: How do you care for this block after grilling?  Do you wash it?**
A: Yes, quick wash in cold water only and paper towel dry right away. We use a brush to get it clean.  Air dry before putting it away.

A: No
