I love this!
Works good for the money spent on it, no distortion whatsoever and sound is great! It’s quite loud but that can be fixed easily. Looks good with my setup too.

Nice, little, good looking speakers. The price was right and they work fine.

I'm surprised, they're better than anticipated, but... 1. I compared the volume on the speakers with it being in the middle and all the way up. There was hardly any difference. They're as loud as they get when they're in the middle. 2. When I shut down the computer there's a high-pitched buzz that comes out of them. Of course I do turn them off as well, but it shouldn't be making that noise. And it isn't the connection or my computer. It's picking up some kind of wave interference. However, there's no buzz while the computer is on. 3. There's one more minor issue: It could use a little more bass output. But at least they do not sound like the sound is coming through tin cans. Other than these things, they do have good sound, much better than I anticipated. And even the bass is okay if you're not looking to pump high bass music or something. They're just fine for my usage, being in close quarters. They don't have a tin-can kind of twang to them, which makes them worth it. Overall, they're pretty good.

Great for web meetings and basic Roku TV.
I needed a decent set of speakers for my desktop PC and I chose the Cyber Acoustics CA-2014 computer speakers for price and the fact that it was externally power (but can be USB powered). I was thrilled with the quick delivery and they are performing as described. These speakers offer decent sound quality and volume for web meetings and watching Roku. Definitely not what I would use for any high-definition audio requirements, but they do satisfy my needs. Great price @ $20!

Lasted 6 months of daily use - okay for the price
I bought these in Feb 2025, and as of Aug 2025 they are no longer working properly--the blue light is on, but no sound at all. For the past few days, it would work sporadically but now, I get nothing but the light. Pros: Very easy to set up, simple controls, good volume control and average quality sound, classic look, includes available 3.5mm port for headphones. I also appreciated that they use AC and do NOT have a USB plug-in, since I have a couple of AC outlets but not a USB port or charger available (though I know others may prefer USB, so that may be a "con" for some). Con: The biggest issue is that they stopped working after just under 6 months' use. There's also no way to turn off the very bright blue power indicator light--I covered it with a sticker to tone it down. Cord connecting the two speakers is a bit on the short side (3 ft if I had to guess) for a larger monitor, but should be fine for medium or small ones. For the price, 6 months of use may not be terrible, but I had hoped for more. (Still marginally better than the mono Bluetooth speaker I had before that I paid more for, but would only connect 70% of the time. That one lasted 5 months.)

Cheap trash. You get what you pay for.
Obviously 17 dollar speakers aren't going to be your answer for a home entertainment system, but I was hoping for something a little more functional than what I got. To begin with, the left speaker didn't work at all. I jostled the wire a little, and finally got faint sound from it - about half the volume of the right speaker. But balanced or not, the sound quality was awful. It was faint, tinny, no bass at all, and didn't do any of my music any justice. I get far better sound quality out of a pair of 15-dollar headphones (powered only by the audio jack) than I do with these speakers (which actually have a DC power plug). Besides that, they just feel cheap. Small, lightweight, loose wires... Just spend the money and get something that works, rather than this piece of junk.

Good speakers, great price!
I have an older Dell laptop which included a speaker that lacked both volume and quality. However, with headphones the volume and quality are quite good. Since I don't care for wearing headsets or ear buds all the time, I figured that amplified ext. spkrs. were the obivious solution. I already had a set of Logitech spkrs. for use with my "Fire" tablet. They work well, but I had to velcro them down as the base is so small that they tip over quite easily. I, therefore, ordered these Cyber Acoustics spkrs for their larger footprint. They arrived on time and in excellent condition. I really like the controls and the volume is very good with my Dell. The quality of sound was very flat when I first got these small spkrs. hooked up. Now I realize your only going to get so much depth of tone with a set of $11.00, 1 1/2" x 3" spkrs. but I felt it might not be totally the fault of the spkrs. I played rock music (heavy percussion) at full volume for a couple of hours, and the sound did get better as they began to loosen up. While these spkrs are not studio quality, for the price they do a nice job. The last thing I want to mention is that these spkrs. are very light. When they are being played loudly on a smooth surface, the vibration tends to make them move around. I solved this problem by using sticky pads which can be left loose or velcro'd to the bottom of the spkrs. and then cut to size.
