Completely useless
Firstly no matter what I do it won't log into the app It just gives network failed the only way to access the device is through a web browser once you're logged in the location jumps around all over the place anything from half a mile to at it's worse 6 miles away from where it is I've tried moving it around inside outside just trying to let it get a fix and it doesn't even get close do not buy this piece of crap if I can be bothered to send it back I would get my money back it is completely worthless and by the way I'm a tech Guy I know how to get this stuff working and this doesn't work

Significant problems
I would think very carefully before using this unit to track anyone, or as any kind of evidence that, for example, your partner had been cheating on you.1. The app periodically says "GPS365 closed" without giving a reason, and has to restart.2. When trying to exit the app using the android "back" button, the message "press again to exit" appears. But if you press again, it does not exit.3. When using the "playback" function, you can set the "start" and "end" time, and show the route taken during that time. But after setting the start time using the clock provided, the correct time is not shown on the main playback "filter" screen. It just shows the start of the day instead. The start time has clearly been stored though, as when I try to reset it, the original "start" time that I set is displayed on the clock screen. The end time is always displayed correctly on both the clock screen and the main filter screen.4. When trying to download the data from the playback screen using the "download" option, the app shows the message "download failed". No reason is given.5. I went for a drive around a major UK city. Sitting in the car park of Staples, on the inner ring road, I chose "track". The app said the unit was offline.6. When I got back home, I was able to use the "playback" function to view the route I had taken (including the stop in Staples car park). However, when I tried use the same function to show the route again, it showed a completely different route (in the same city) over the same time frame as before. This showed a journey that I know the unit has not been on (unless someone has somehow stolen it from my flat and driven it round a different part of the city at the same time I was driving it around the ring road). Further attempts to view my original route showed still different routes (in the same city, over the same time frame).7. No matter what I do, I can't seem to switch it off. The little LED lights keep flashing however long I hold down the "off" button. If I use the "remote shutdown" option in the app, the unit goes offline and the app can't access it, but the lights keep flashing. Then I have to access a Wifi network in order to get the app to switch the unit back on again.8. The "track" option currently shows an elevation of 112m above sea level. Sitting in the same place before I went for the drive, it showed 19m above sea level, and a location at least 100 metres away - somewhere that I have not taken the unit at all.9. The maximum frequency which the unit will upload it's location is one minute. Inside that minute, it can go anywhere and you wouldn't know. So if you are driving at 30 miles per hour, that's half a mile between each location. The playback function just jumps from each of these locations to the next one, giving no real sense of the journey that has been taken. The route itself is not drawn on the app (i.e. there's no "red line" to show where the unit has been). Instead the journey is illustrated with several different icons that appear to represent WiFi locations and a few other things - it isn't clear what exactly these represent.9. The disclaimer is written in very bad English - so bad as to be meaningless. There are numerous non-sequiturs and spelling mistakes in the printed instructions (which are miniscule), the app description in the app store, and the product description itself in the Amazon store.10. You can log into the website to show your route, instead of using the app. The page says "this page can't load Google Maps correctly". The route is at least marked with a green line showing the previous path, (rather than the unexplained icons the app uses). But the whole map is greyed out with "for development purposes only" repeated across the page, and the green line itself is misleading because it is simply drawn from point to point (with each point being 1 minute apart). So my journey shows me driving straight through buildings and cutting across vast corners where roads don't exist. Once the journey is complete, if you click "start" again, nothing happens, except the button title changes to "continue". Click it again and the journey starts again.About 4 years ago I bought a cat tracker that worked much better than this. It gave a precise picture of the journey the cat had actually taken, to a resolution of about 3 metres, and drew the route as a clear, detailed line on a map. It didn't need a SIM card to work either.I'm surprised that Amazon gave this the "Amazon choice" flag. It doesn't feel like it has been through quality control. Products like this need to be given to an outsider to unbox and try to use without any prior knowledge. I don't think that exercise has taken place here. The whole thing lacks polish.I will be returning this.

Accurate locating
I initially bought this to place permanently in my car as I’ve had vehicles stolen and thought this was a cheap alternative to having one professionally fitted. Unfortunately I didn’t read the description carefully enough because the battery only last 2 days so I need to keep removing it to recharge it. It’s very accurate in finding the location and the app is easy to install and use. The device is small enough to hide easily and weighs very little. I’ll persevere with just keeping it in an easily accessible location in my car for now, unfortunately that means it’s accessible for a thief too but it gives a little piece of mind as you can set a geo fence to let you know if the trackers goes outside of that range, which will alert me of any theft. Worth the money but just dropped a star due to the short battery life.

Persistence pays off
Eventually after weeks of trying retrying buying different sim cards and contacting supplier I found in a Q&A section that yes you Do need to activate the sim card and also put credit on it. It won't work otherwise even if it shows in UK.The supplier was contacted and said they would try and sort out that it was always showing in China. It did change without further input from me so I assume they did that although they at first said I had to contact customer services despite the fact I contacted the email address on the instruction leaflet for 'issues' so persistence pays offIt's pretty accurate. I just wish there was more detailed info on how to use all the different sections that it shows you. It seems that I can't work it to fullest potential as I have no clue how.Battery here lasts 24 hours not 48. I suppose if its looking for network and not finding it the battery will be used quickerOverall it just does what I need it to but it could be easier with a supplied sim and more detailed user instructions.

Top quality, very easy to install and very simple to use. 5*
Now I purchased this item as my company has around 10 fleet cars for workers to use. With my old insurance each car was fitted with a live tracker so would could find out there locations. However we have just renewed with a new company for a lot cheaper but it did not have this option. I purchased one of these to just test as it was fairly cheap. It’s actually great on the tracking software you can add and label multiple tracking units so I could actually have and track all the cars on one software instead of like having to sign into each unit. On top of this I stuck it on my colleagues car who was out this afternoon and the tracking itself seem to be pretty good give it take 15-20meters. Perfect for what I need. Will defiantly be buying 9-10 more come the next payment run for all the car. For the 3000£ I’ve saved on insurance and the only thing I lost was this add on, to be able to get all the cars tracked for a tenth of this price it’s great in my eyes.

Not understandable.
All of the app and webapp is Chinese, even after selecting English. It doesn't respond even when moved.Absolutely useless.Im going to use a cheap old phone and use that as a tracker through google "Find my device" instead.

Decent GPS Tracker
I bought this tracker as it appeared quite compact and easy to use. Well size wise is it true to the specs. But I didn't read the complete description before buying as the two day battery limit is not what I needed. In terms of accuracy it is quite good and the phone app is easy to use. I might try to reduce the refresh rate probably to make the battery last longer.
