Okay, I've been on my matcha journey and I've been buying and seeing those alternatives that I like and don't like and the experience I had with this tea is that it tastes more like tea and if you don't like a tea flavor you're going to need to sweeten it, I like it but that's all I can say about it, I also want to say that it comes with little quantity in a relatively small tin but you don't need much so it's worth it to me, if you want one that has a less strong tea flavor, Culinary is not for you but the universal quality

This was my first Matcha purchase. After reading a lot of reviews I decided to give this one a try since I didn't want to pay too much for something I didn't know if I would actually like it. Received the tea in time and have been drinking it 3-4 times a week. I really like the taste, it's 'smooth'...not bitter. This is the way I make it: Put 1 teaspoon of Organic Coconut Oil, a little cold Almond Milk and 1 teaspoon Great Lakes Unflavored Gelatin, Kosher, and half a teaspoon of Matcha in my Vitamix while the I heat up 1 cup of Almond Milk. Once the milk is hot I add it to the mix and give it a good whirl. Delicious! I can only recommend this tea and already reordered another can. PS: I ordered the one that is 'fulfilled by Amazon'! You find this one on the right hand side of the page immediately under the first order window where it says "other sellers on Amazon" for 3 cents more. I'd rather deal with Amazon should there be a problem with an order. It is also an add-on item with free shipping over $35.

It's decent quality and worked for a few drinks. Packed in a bag inside the can, which empties into about half of the can's volume.

Good quality matcha! It tastes great for me and I regulary drink matcha every day. Love how it comes in a plastic to keep it preserved well until I open it.

My favorite matcha powder! Stumbled across this brand a few years ago when I gave up coffee. All other matcha tastes like dirt to me now. This one has the right balance of bitterness and smoothness and is a vibrant green color. Like other reviews say, the can is small, and I’m definitely using twice the serving size of 2g (14 servings per can). Since I make one cup a day, I end up going through about 3–4 cans a month. Switched to the subscription delivery to save a little extra. Definitely the way to go to make it even more affordable! Less than $1/day habit, which is a small fraction of what I’d pay for an inferior version at my local coffee shop. Hot tip: I make a paste with the matcha powder and agave before adding water or milk and heating. Gets rid of the lumps really easily. A bamboo whisk is the traditional method but I found it hard to clean and never got all the lumps out.

What i love about this matcha powder is that it has a beautiful green so that’s a good thing. This matcha is amazing because usually culinary grade matcha in other brands have a very dull and yellowish shade but this one is a perfect green. The taste is amazing i love it. The price is not even bad for culinary. Anyways i’d repurchase this over and over again!
