Vigar Compact Folding Step Stool, 9 in, Black, Up to 330 lb

Very sturdy and easy for my kid to move around. He's about 36 inches and this helps him reach the sink just enough to wash his hands and help with cooking, but he has a hard time reaching the faucet handles still. He can fold and unfold it easily too and I think it's one of the better designs for not pinching fingers - he did pinch his fingers a little once, but it wasn't bad or a hard pinch and now he knows to be careful of that. Now he won't be climbing quite as high as he did with a Stepstool Tower and he can't rock it or hang off it.

Very nice, you pick it up and slip your hand behind the foot step and it unfolds instantly and effortlessly, And when you pick it up from the handles at the top it folds up effortlessly as well. It's a very handy little step stool, and I really love it. Just the right size to get things off the top shelf of the upper cabinets in my kitchen!

This little stool is great! Tall enough to help you reach into those higher cupboards and more. Nice wide top to provide a secure platform on which to stand, lightweight and easy to carry around wherever it's needed. This is a buy - fits this 78-yr old guy just fine

A lot of reviews mentioned the risk of pinching fingers as the stool folds closed. Forewarned is prepared. I haven't had an issue as I place my hands carefully to avoid getting pinched. The stool is a little taller than similar ones from other manufacturers, but this one has a dainty step at the front, so I stop lightly there then up onto the top surface. It folds flat but the little step protrudes - just a bit. If planning to stope in a narrow space (such as next to the refrigerator) make allowance for the step.

Perfect for those of us who live in apartments, small spaces with limited storage space. Lightweight but sturdy and folds up to take up minimal space. Recommend the hooks that are also available for the this stool so it can be hung up out of the way.
