I have been a seeker for most of my life and have shelves and shelves of self-help books. This book, Soul Shifts, is more than a self-help book. It is a vibrational download of transformational wisdom offered by Dr. Barbara De Angelis, who in my opinion is the best spiritual teacher of modern time. Her wisdom is practical and down to earth. Soul Shifts is written for real people living in the real world, and is written in such a way that it helps us shift our perceptions of what we have viewed as our reality. I have read all of Barbara De Angelis's best selling books, and all are phenomenal. This one has touched the deepest part of my soul. It has helped me find parts of myself that I had forgotten were there...my confidence, my courage, my wisdom, my knowingness, my love, my compassion... It has awakened parts of myself that I had forgotten had gone to sleep. This is a book that grabs your attention from the first page and is written in such a style that makes it easy to read...and yet, each sentence, each paragraph holds so much wisdom on so many levels that it can be read over and over again, and you will glean something new each time. Soul Shifts is a book that has given me hope. I feel there is so much more life ahead of me. For the first time in a long time I feel alive. Before Soul Shifts I felt it was too late for me...that I had wasted too much time. After all, it is difficult to change after one has lived six decades. When I held the book in my hands for the first time it felt alive! When I delved into the pages, I realized that indeed the pages are alive with love, compassion and more love. It has transformed my life, helping me to understand exactly what I have been locked into that has not been serving me. Dr. Barbara De Angelis has written the best book for true transformational change in the last 50 years. I've read a lot of books in this genre and no one out there offers true pragmatic tools for realistic and lasting lifestyle changes like she does in Soul Shifts. Her writing is clear, soaked in wisdom, and well organized. She gives personal examples from her own journey as a serious spiritual seeker and uses amazing metaphors in her teaching style to enhance learning and processing of truth. There are summaries of the soul shifts in the back of the book as well as copies for you to use in your own journey towards transformation. The word transformation sounds like a big deal word however there is nothing self righteous in any of Barbara's wisdom. This is rubber hit the road kind of help that will give you the ability to assimilate her truths without having a doctorate! The book is written like she is sharing with her best friend, you the reader while you chat over a latte together. I took her words in with ease and hope on every page. I read the book while listening to her on the audio and it was incredible to do it that way! Her main goal in this book is to offer you solid ways to live your life in every moment and in every choice from your own highest point of consciousness. She provides the tools for you to get in touch with how you are really seeing, feeling and knowing in your life instead of a flat zombie existence ruled by the expectations of the universe. If you want real, you want Soul Shifts. She lays all the cards on the table without any tricks or gimmicks. It's a path about remembering who you really are and to live from that wholeness every day. She teaches you what questions to ask yourself when you find yourself locked out on the balcony of your own heart and the keys to actually make better choices which expand rather than contract you. This book has changed me in a profound way. I literally felt something in me shift as I was part way through the book. Something dropped away and my heart opened and I felt free. This may sound a bit out there, but I have lived on and off with depression for many many years and this book has helped me so much to release it. . I carried a huge amount of grief around with me and really thought I would always feel like that. Reading this book and Choice for Love, her latest book, have profoundly and deeply changed me and connected me to love in a way I could only think of before. I now feel such deep love and my heart is open again and able to receive. I feel joy again. Barbara is just an amazing Teacher, coming from a place of such deep love and she has so much experience and wisdom to share and she does it in such a grounded, practical way. There is no magical thinking or wishy washiness from her. I am so grateful to have found this book and to have found her.

As I pre-order the book Soul Shifts few weeks ago, Dr. Barbara De Angelis offered the first chapter as a gift. I read it 3 times and I couldn't stop to come back and read part of it again and again. There is so much wisdom contain in these pages. I just can't wait to read the whole book that I am receiving today. I read and studied many of the books of Barbara and listened at many of her audio books. The teachings and wisdom of Barbara De Angelis changed my life from being stuck in despair to a life of joy and fulfillment. Barbara begins her book Soul Shifts by welcoming all of us, from her highest to our highest. She is offering each of us a garnement of flowers to honor the great teacher we are all. Wow! How personal it is! I feel I enter in a temple greeted by the highest being of love. I always feel Barbara right here sharing with me so intimatly through all the pages. This is a great gift she is having to create instant intimate bond of the heart with all her students. In Soul Shifts, she shares about "divine discomfort" (paraphrasing Barbara De Angelis): "You wake up, you get up and then, you realise you have so many things to accomplish, you feel the pressure and you get impatient. Dr. Barbara De Angelis understands my journey, the journey of humanity. She is the most loving, humble, uplifted, beautiful, strong, fierce woman. She walks the talk. Her wisdom is clear and focus. She maps out in an easy and concrete way how we get lost and how to get back home in the highest vibrations of love and truth. She offers tons of tools that you can't find anywhere else. This is a fabulous book and promises shift in your spiritual learning levels. A Must read. A true , promised shift in all that you though you knew and all that you didn't yet .

A must read for all on a spiritual journey, written with great wisdom and understanding of conflicts encountered on the physical journey. A can't put down, read clarifying so much with clear precise and transformative methods for each and every one! I would recommend this as I truly felt I was reading my own thoughts. Loved this book!!
