This is so far, by far the best parasol I've had. I brought it after seeing good reviews and I'm glad I did. I must say it's really is strong and withstood the strong winds and storms we've had lately. So if you are like me and like to have your parasol up all year round then this is the one. It comes with a cover for when you want to put it down. I can't emphasize enough about the strength of this parasol. Would highly recommend.

I am very pleased with this parasol, very easy to assemble and looks great on my deck The khaki colour blends in nicely and offers good shade and protection from the sun I’m glad I bought a good heavy base as it is quite sturdy and looks like it could survive wind and showers as well … So I intend using it regularly for the rest of the Summer and into the Autumn You get what you pay for and this is good value.

This seems to be a reasonably good quality parasol with a wind-up handle - slightly awkward having to find the handle under the umbrella cover to get at it to wind it but it works well. Very easy to assemble and the cover (mine is cream) looks very nice though it will probably show every mark from the odd passing pigeon and you can't get it off to wash it. Good size and it looks very nice when up. When it is closed there is no tape or velcro to stop it from flapping about so I have tied some elastic string round mine. It is quite easy to disassemble - come in two pieces quite easily to put it away.

This is a lovely product, sturdy, strong and stylish - good value in what you get for the price. Sadly, the string on the winding mechanism broke. It was a week out of warranty but Glamhaus immediately committed to send me a replacement. That’s great customer service.

Our 10+ year old wooden parasol collapsed with metal fatigue after some heavy wind. We looked at several models and designs for a replacement. Our criteria became: steel, 8-ribbed crank-lift and straight without a tilt. We already had a heavy enough base prop for the pole. This model was highly recommended and ticked all the boxes. A bit more expensive than simpler models, but not into the luxury market. It is very attractive. I'm tall, but dealing with the canopy cover bag is awkward, unless you a) stand on a chair or b) take the top pole off. However is remains a very good option for storms or long storage. We are pleased and enjoyed our first lovely lunch under it with our family.

arrived in good time and easy to assemble. So far has worked well and with the aid of some weighted clips has survived strong winds when down. good value for the price.

The product is ok although it arrived with a few oily type marks on the fabric and inside maybe indicative of a returned item?inside the parasol at the very top there are two opposing self tapping screws one had fallen out and was loose in the box and the other was very loose under closer inspection it appears the screws aren’t long enough and the diameter of the holes they screw into are too large so they just keep on turning round without getting any tighter.

Fine Parasol but didn’t realise there was no tilt, left a little disappointed but my fault. Do not assume it has a tilt - it doesn’t
