Pea Protein 100%, incredible value
Bought the Bulk Supplements.com Clean & Pure Bulk Supplements Pea Protein over a week ago. I have purchased protein powder before, but this is my first time purchasing a single ingredient (without all of the additional fillers). This is also the first time I've purchased from Bulk Supplements.com. I already own several different types of pea protein powder mixes. But I like the idea of being able to make one on my own, basically customized to my needs/ wants. I also liked the idea of it being 100% product without any allergens. So I wanted to give it a try. Strengths: *This is 100% pea protein. There are no other added ingredients. * The size of the bag is 1 kilogram or 2.21 pounds. * It has 33 servings, of which each serving contains 110 calories and 24 gm of protein. It also contains iron, sodium, and potassium. * It comes in a heavy plastic bag that is lined with foiled and clear plastic for appropriate storage. * It mixes easily into liquids, via spoon, smoothie shaker, or blender. * The taste is very mild. * Incredible value. Weaknesses: * It does not contain a scooper, like most powder proteins * You need to be creative, with what you mix it in. Juice and coconut milk has worked well so far. * There are not clear directions on how it is recommended that you take it, nor how much to take. Final Thoughts: I am very excited to find this company, in which I can combine multiple supplements that are 100% from the natural source, and free of fillers. The price point is very reasonable. I am hopeful to find some recipes that will state how much to use and other ingredients to make a great tasting and healthy protein shake! heavy

24 Grams of Protein! Complete Protein. Doesn't Coagulate in Coffee!
I am a fan of yellow pea protein because it is a complete protein. Also, it can be made thick to the consistency of milk--in cold enough water, it is bland and tastes like a reasonable replacement for milk. At room temperature, it just tastes kind of bland, but that's okay. I'm in it for the nutritional benefit of a complete protein source at a great price, not seeking flavor country. However, when you mix it with instant coffee (as I experimented with), I found that it didn't coagulate like whey protein does when it comes in contact with water that's too hot. So, that makes it superior for use in coffee or hot cocoa compared to whey protein. Also, compared to a half gallon of milk, it's also a bargain for the protein. However, there's only 1 gram of fat and one gram of carbohydrate per serving (if I recall correctly), which means that one has to replace any fats or carbohydrates in one's diet to the extent desired if switching from dairy. My suggestion for getting the equivalent fats found in dairy would be a tablespoon of coconut oil, MCT oil, or sunflower oil.

Good source of protein that is easy on the stomach
This does the job well. You must take into account what it is...Unflavored Pea Protein. Protein derived from peas. To that end, I do not think it is fair to mark it low for a bad taste and/or chalky texture. It is ground up, processed peas. It is an effective source of nondairy protein, for which what I was searching. It does not taste great, but it does not taste horrible. I use it in a mixed berry blend with cocoa powder, which mitigates the taste some. This has great protein content and is easy on my stomach, which is getting more finicky the older I get. I can drink it alone with water, if needed. My only complaint is that it does not dilute as well as I would like. There is usually some dry powdery residue at the bottom of the blender, but not too much. I usually scoop it out with a teaspoon. I have also tried the Now Foods Pea Protein and it is about the same.

Make sure this is not the last meal you ever have
Probably the worst protein powder I have ever had the displeasure to taste. It smells like an amalgamation of cat food, ground up cardboard, and dirt. And yes, I have tried all of those as well. To a being with no tongue nor sense of smell, this product may be of some use and benefit. But I am, thankfully, a fully functional human being. One equipped with a tongue that can discern many a flavor, a nose large enough to inhale vast quantities of air and the particulates floating within into the depths of the alveoli of my lungs. It quite disturbs me that this foul, unpleasant smegma was on my tongue, down my esophagus, and wrecking havoc on the microbiota resting peacefully in my digestive tract. The poor souls did not stand a chance. To think that I ingested this abomination, digested it, appropriated it within my cells. May my body, my fortress, forgive me. For I have sinned. I also regret inhaling these horrid particles the smell of which puts flatulence to shame, into my lungs, undoubtedly predisposing me to reactive airway diseases, and have my alveolar macrophages running hither and tither trying to contain the wrath and destruction caused by this nuclear waste. This is something that I would feed my worst enemies, and even then feel the burden of guilt of the pain that I caused them. Anyway, do not buy.
