Four Position Support Pillow (20.5" x 8" x 4.5") - Provide Best Support for Sleeping on Side or Back - Helps Relieve Back Pain

I'm so glad I chose these support cushions. I've tried everything in the past 25 years, including wedges, pillows, support cushions like this, etc. Perhaps technology in support cushions has improved since I last tried different methods of support. Whatever happened, these support pillows are the best, they are awesome! What I specifically needed was knee support when in bed, both for back sleeping and for side sleeping. I've become totally frustrated with trying to find a pillow that doesn't go flat after a week or less. Wedges are large and tear my bed apart. My arthritis causes muscle spasms, the wedges force my legs into a particular position and the result is painful spasms. This is a big reason why I chose to use pillows, even if they go flat I can bend them and they give so I can avoid the spasm problem. I've tried half-moon rolls like this in the past and they were too short in length, my legs would roll off of them. I put off ordering these support pillows for that reason. I measured my current pillow and my swollen knees and decided I needed a cushion at least 24" long. After much searching and reading descriptions and measurements, and looking at prices, I decided to order these, and they are exactly what I needed. They work perfectly, even though they are shorter than I thought I needed. They work perfectly at night for my knees on both my back and when sleeping on my side. The side sleeping alignment is perfect, I can tell a huge difference in support, I don't hurt (I'm not in pain) all night and I'm sleeping better! I couldn't tell from the description or reviews how firm, or soft, these cushions would be. They are very firm, they don't give at all! This is also perfect with my knees as I need the full 4 1/2" of elevation. At the same time, I don't go into spasms all night. I had one severe spasm the first night I used these, but I haven't had any trouble since. I think it was just my muscles getting adjusted to having the support I know I needed. This cushion also works perfectly for lumbar support when I'm sitting. Again, the curve and level of support are perfect! I used it last night under a down pillow. I tend to tuck my arms under my pillow to give my neck/head the support they need, even though I know that's not good for my body. It worked much better than I expected as a head pillow but is a little too large for proper neck support. I have Tempur-pedic memory foam pillows, Tempur-pedic memory foam neck pillows, sculptured knee support and just about anything else that's available on the market. I'm so glad I tried these!

TRAVEL PILLOW FOR AIRLINES!!! This was exactly what I was looking for--a replacement for a nice, sturdy, rectangular cushion, cased in leather, that I had been using to hold my head mostly upright, facing forward, as I slept on jetliners. Unfortunately, another passenger, Delta Airlines or Charles de Gaulle Airport now has my lost cushion after I left it behind. (I went back in 10 minutes but it was gone. No word on it, despite permanent ink has my full contact info.) While standard travel pillows are small, soft and don't help sleep much, what with the constant need to adjust them to find some sweet spot of positioning between your head and the seat or bulkhead, this InteVision Support Pillow lets you sit more or less normally, while supporting your chin without compressing much from the weight of your head. So put your sunglasses or sleep mask on, prop this baby up in your lap vertically, rest your weary head and dream on! By the way, I tried it also in bed, and like many people said, it's too firm for general use as a pillow. I am very happy with it for the purpose I bought it, and it probably serves well in other specialized ways.

My best friend has a pillow like this that we call the 'Magic Special Pillow'. She has a cat who has feline leukemia, and when the cat has a flareup and is sick, she would sit and cuddle with the cat, with this pillow behind her neck, sometimes all night long, in the rocking chair. The cat would cuddle up on her shoulder, and shove her head under the pillow, and they would both sleep like that for hours while she was sick. We call it the Magic Special Pillow, because the cat is in remission now from the fe-leuk, and the vet thinks she 'passed it' and is not longer at risk of dying from it, which he says is very rare. It's silly, but we sort of seriously and sort of jokingly attribute her being health now, and she is 11 years old having head fe-leuk for 9 years!, and we sort of attribute that to her magic pillow healing her. The thing is, this pillow she has is old now, and the cover is worn some and it's flattened a bit with age (memory foam in the middle, but it still flattened some) The cover has a few holes where the cat has kneaded on it. We've looked everywhere for another Magic Special Pillow and haven't found one just like it until this one! Okay, the cover is a little bit different, but it's still essentially the same pillow. The cover is slightly textured but soft and the pillow part, the interior foam, is firm/hard, but it keeps its shape well and is not so hard it is uncomfortable. It's perfect for lumbar support and curve, as well as neck support and rest when lying flat or sitting up. It's also good for sliding under knees when lying flat and needing to elevate the knees for pain support. It can also go under the buttocks or low-back when stretching or doing yoga poses. It's a very versatile pillow, lightweight and easy to move around when needed. But most of all, the cat seems to like it just as much as the original and buries her head in it and purrs... the only thing keeping it from getting a full five stars is that the pillow is just a little bit harder than perfect (we're hoping it'll soften up a little bit with use).

Affordable. Effective. Works well for a sore neck or back. Just enough support. I love this product. Also good for elevating your feet... the flat bottom helps it stay in place. Nice pillow cover. Love that the cover is removable so you can launder it. I absolutely recommend this product! On time delivery!

If you never or rarely shift positions in bed (i.e. you stay on your back or on your side), this pillow will probably work well for you. But, if you're like me and shift between sleeping on your back and side, this becomes more of a hindrance than a help. I bought this pillow to alleviate morning back pain that I've suddenly developed in my mid-30s. I read that having a pillow under your legs (for back sleepers) or in between your legs (for side sleepers) properly aligns your spine, which can reduce or eliminate the pain upon waking up. It did help when I first used it, but the problem is that I usually start off on my back, but then shift to my side, and back again, etc. Because of the shape of this pillow, doing so requires manually adjusting the pillow with your hands to position it properly. This in turn means that it's hard to get to sleep--as soon as I need to shift, any progress I've made into sleep is disrupted when I need to adjust the pillow. In summary, I appreciate the idea of this pillow, but it just doesn't work for me in the end.

I have had this pillow for several months. It comes with a washable cotton sleeve that zips off (the zipper is covered). It is a good size: I have short legs (I am 5'3") and the length of the pillow fits between my legs from knee to end of foot comfortably. The height is perfect also: I can use it between my legs to raise the top leg so no pressure on my hip from a dropped leg; I tuck it just above my knees to relieve pressure points and my favorite is on my back, I tuck it under my thighs, tight to my butt - it relieves the arch in the lower back which feels sooo good! The pillow is lightweight so during the night I can push it around and it slides on the sheets thanks to the smooth cotton cover. The only thing that could be improved is the cotton cover is quite thin. I can see through it. It can't possibly keep dirt and oils off the pillow. I still chose 5 stars because I've tried a handful of other pillows and this one is hands down the best one for fit and comfort.

This is a decent leg support pillow to use under my knees while sleeping. I realized during one of my acupuncture treatments that a similar pillow made lying on my back a lot more comfortable, so I decided to find a similar pillow to use at home and hopefully alleviate my chronic morning back pain. This pillow is fairly firm, but I feel it could be firmer. I suspect over time it is going to flatten out some and not bounce back, which for the price is not horrible, but a little less give would be nice. The washable cover is nice, but I wish it came in other colors, because cream gets dirty very easily and is boring to look at. It does not affect the performance at all, but why not make some fun color choices or other covers you can purchase? Just a thought. While this has not completely eliminated my back pain, it has helped alleviate it a lot. Overall, I am pleased with this pillow and I would recommend this to others seeking similar relief. The only caveat would be if you are very heavy you might want to look for something firmer.
