Review: Use it to clean EVERYTHING - We discovered Kleen-Free about 9 years ago when we had a bed bug infestation and now use it for all kinds of cleaning: - rugs - floors - kitchen - bath - dogs - cats - upholstery - hair - body - mold - glass - shoes (smelly, sweaty, and grimmy) - grease Without boring you, I'll give you some examples... For our bed bug problem we discovered that a 5 pronged approach worked 1) use caulk to seal base boards, around windows, door molding, and anywhere the bugs can hid; 2) wash all clothing, bedding, and fabrics in hot water and dry on high heat; 3) put pillows and rugs and other large items in a freezer (or if it's winter and the outdoor temperatures are below zero for more than 2 days in row you can wrap the items in plastic and leave them outside); 4)get a hand held steam cleaner and steam EVERYTHING that won't be harmed by the steam (floors, walls, mattresses, furniture, cupboards, bathroom tile, window casings) steam every crack and crevice because this is where the bugs like to hide and lay eggs 5) use the Kleen-Free in a diluted form (about 10 luke warm water to 1 Kleen-Free) to wash everything. It is important to NOT use hot water with the Kleen-Free because the heat will kill the enzymes. I like to rub the Kleen-Free into fabrics/upholstery and use the heat of my hands to activate the enzymes. Rinsing is not necessary. When the Kleen-Free worked so well on the bed bugs, we started using it to wash our dogs because we noticed that the flea treatment we use kills the live fleas but not the eggs. The Kleen-Free kills the eggs by breaking down the protein layer around the eggs. Step 1) wet the pet thoroughly starting around the neck, then the tail, then the rest of the animal; Step 2) dilute the Kleen-Free with luke warm water (1:10) and pour over the neck, back, and tail; Step 3) massage the solution into the fur, it will create a lather, work your way down the legs, belly, and groan, continue massaging for at least 8 minutes; Step 4) rinse with warm water; Step 5) repeat steps 3 and 4; Step 6) dry your pet thoroughly. We had an air conditioning air handler that was improperly installed in our house before we bought it. After several years of operation, the closet containing the air handler was infested with mold. We removed the air handler and the drywall but found mold on the 2x4s and the back of the drywall on the adjoining wall. We used the Kleen-Free to wash the mold and the mold immediately disappeared. The mold smell was also immediately gone. We let it dry and replaced the drywall and installed a new air handler (properly) and have not had a problem since. We bought a second-hand car from someone that smoked. We used the Kleen-Free to wash the entire interior and the car was like new (headliner, leather seats, carpet, doors, and dash). One thing you will notice when using Kleen-Free is the change in the energy of what you're cleaning. Not only will the thing look and be clean, it will feel clean energetically. I know it sounds "far out" but you'll know what I mean after you use it. Lastly, I feel good about using Kleen-Free because it is completely natural, it is non-toxic around my kids and pets, and their is no possibility of the bugs building up an immunity to the product because they cannot build an immunity to enzymes. Review: Update: 5-star Lethal enzymatic bug killer--A MUST HAVE - July 18, 2011 This product is a must-have item. Just this week, we had a flea infestation in the house. My wife mixed up some of this product to spray areas on the patio and in the house. I asked her if it was killing the fleas--she said she couldn't verify if they were actually dying or just scattering. Well, I thought that I would try the mixture on the stubborn Japanese beetles covering our roses outside to see if it had any effect whatsoever--the diamotaceouse earth that we had been using as a natural pesticide was like a winter playland for the beetles. I wasn't expecting much more than it irritating the beetles temporarily as they sure have seemed to be robust in our experiences with them. I went outside around 11AM, sunny and 90 degrees. It was amazing. The product definitely made them move a lot but I initially thought that it was probably just an irritant to the beetles at best. As I made my rounds in the rose bushes, I started noticing some beetles dropping off but still moving. Then I noticed beetles laying on their backs and dead on the leaves and flowers. Many simply looked alive but were actually dead as I sprayed them again. It seemed that some were more resistant, but later, all the bugs were dead. Some of the roses had 1 to 2 dozen beetles grouped together when I started but all would eventually die. It was a real slaughter and our first victory using a "natural" product in such circumstances. I also noticed the petals didn't "burn" in the sun, although the next day it seemed that their decline cycle had accelerated. I also tried the product in the shade at about 82 degrees in the evening and confirmed that it was effective as well on the beetles. All in all, I was astounded. I now presume that this product will have a similar effect on bugs in general. I whole-heartedly recommend it based on these results for non-toxic insect control. BTW, we have not used it to clean so I cannot say how effective the enzymes are in that respect. Original review: My wife uses the products on our bed and our grandchild's bedding.
