Smells like something from the past
I’m always on the hunt for a good lemon fragrance oil to make my own body sprays with. Love’s Fresh Lemon was one of my first perfumes in the 80s (just a natural, fresh lemon with no other notes), and although sometimes I recreate something similar with grain alcohol and lemon essential oil, fragrance oils do tend to hold up better. A fresh, natural lemon scent is really, really hard to capture in a fragrance oil, and like most I’ve come across, this one also falls short. However, if anyone remember Juice Bar Body Sprays from the 90s, this one smells very similar to the one called Lemonade Squeeze. A slightly artificial candy-like lemon. Not bad, but my search for a good lemon fragrance oil continues.
