Not matte!
Bought matte......it's glossy Ruined my work Sealer for air-dry paint Why did you choose this product over others?: I read it was matte and would seal the paint protecting my work. It didn't!

DID STOP THE PAINT CRACKING & ruining my shoes...
Used this after (to seal) about 5 thinly applied layers of their Flat White acrylic paint (after days of drying between each coat) and after one wear, my new shoes that I was trying to protect were ruined (see image). BE CAREFUL unless experienced painting shoes that you intend to wear, rather than just look at.

Easy to use and hasn't flaked off
This paint worked great on a brown faux leather headboard I wanted to lighten up. It went on smoothly with good coverage and has held up great in the guest bedroom. I'm considering painting the seats of some barstools I got at a thrift store and I'd buy this product again.
