However, the micro warranty is not practical because literally around the 1-year mark every single year, the same part breaks on the front wheels, which is a small metallic spring bar or tensioner for the front wheel steering. It literally shatters probably due to being white metal or some other flaw making it brittle. Additionally, the wheels get clogged up, the handlebar grips disintegrate and feel cheap, and things just start falling apart and this is with strictly indoor use... Because of this, we have had to purchase a brand new micro every year as it's never within the warranty period. We've gone through at least 5 or 6 micros of all models. We decided after the last one which broke right before Christmas last year, to try something different and went with this Globber... I will say that this was the best decision compared to the Micro kickboards. No joke, the craftsmanship of these Globber products is absolutely amazing and the warranty is 3-years rather than 1-year or less. On top of this, the Globber has more features, better design, function and too much to list. The price is very similar to micro and others but let me tell you the value is absolutely unmatched. I wish I would have went with Globber years ago as I would have saved probably ~$1k considering I have had to buy a replacement micro every year. The Globber is simply built better, with a far superior design, parts, craftsmanship, functionality, warranty, features and serviceability. You can adjust the front wheel turning radius on the fly, no tools required; adjust the turning tension; fold the handlebar for portability; the handlebar alone feels so much better & built with superior materials & design - literally rock solid, etc... Most importantly, the front wheel turning mechanism and hardware is ridiculously beefy and honestly probably over engineered on the Globber. Globber is like something from SpaceX compared to Micro which is like something from Temu... Hate to even say that but it's true. Sorry Micro but you dropped the ball and lost a loyal customer. In fact, I don't think I'll buy another Micro product as long as Globber is around & remains at the quality/value it is... Even if Micro miraculously reinvents itself as I've spent far too much already on inferior products, probably designed to fail right after warranty expires on purpose, with zero attempts to fix the core, persistent, micro product quality issues which are: Front wheel turning mechanism/hardware, handlebar grips, wheels/bearings. If you're looking for a long lasting, feature rich, high quality, well designed and well built 3-wheel kickboard for indoor or outdoor use for kids, teens or young adults, I strongly recommend Globber products. The warranty is 3-years as well I believe, although you shouldn't really need it. Every other kickboard including Micro only comes with a 1-year warranty or less from my experience. So far, going on 2-years with our Globber, teen usage indoors daily, Zero issues and literally still looks like brand new with no wear and tear visible yet.
