Preferred product when it comes to salt.

Just what I needed - a low sodium (for the same volume) - more of a perception for sure but a great way to control one's sodium intake per day. The large twin packages is a blessing since I don't have to worry about replenishing them anytime soon. Extremely reasonably priced product for the size of the packages. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a tasty and low sodium salt (per volume).

Use this salt all the time - it's great since the sodium content is lower than regular table salt. This Diamond Crystal has only 280mg per 1/4 teaspoon vs regular salt (Morton's) has 590mg per 1/4 teaspoon, so if you are on a low sodium diet this is great, with the only caveat being it has no iodine.

I am a home cook who occasionally gets the dish perfect, not enough times. but enough to know it wasn't a fluke. I've been cooking for decades now and are ashamed to say I had never heard of Diamond Crystal Salt. This salt will make you look like a chef to family and friends. This is literally a game changer... perhaps life changer. Whatever you are cooking (meat or veg.) Add this salt to your dish and that ingredient's taste amplifies, sometimes brings out a hidden flavor. I learned about this salt (and many other cooking hints) from, a book called Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat by Samin Nosrat. The author details the reason for all four ingredients. Kosher salt is the best!

This is my absolute favorite kosher salt. I'm a chef, and this salt is pretty much the universal standard in professional kitchens. The thing that sets it apart from every other salt that I've used is the "crunch" in your fingers when you sprinkle it. It's just large enough to coat what you're seasoning evenly, but not too large to have uneven large chunks. I've kept my eye out for it at every grocery store I've visited, and rarely see it available. Would give 5 stars, but there was an issue with how it was packed for shipping. It was placed in a shipping box that was at least 3x the size of the product itself, and not nearly enough filler was added. This caused the product to slide and bounce around during shipping and damaged one of the boxes, causing it to break open slightly. Only about a cup's worth of salt spilled out, so it wasn't worth trying to return or get a refund. Over all extremely happy with the product for the price, Packaging of the product by the seller/amazon could have been done better.

Absurd teuer, aber so ist es halt mit Kosher Salt in Europa. Es ist ratsam, die Menge, die man nicht benötigt, luftdicht zu verpacken, oder zu verschenken.
