Good quality for daily use
Have a few of the melody susie products now and have never been let down. This drill can handle daily use on the go all the time. Not to heavy to handy, easy to use and great value. Power settings are enough to remove biab and gel. Not too loud to use. Do feel a bit of the vibration but depending on drill head they leave a nice smooth finish. Plenty of attachment options but do buy mine elsewhere.

Effective for thickened toenails too
This was purchased for an older family member who has thickened toenails. I purchased a set of ceramic tools to use with this, because I'd read that ceramic would be "kinder" to very sensitive nails. The gadget did not disappoint. It proved to be easy to use and I really like the variable speed control, which even on the lowest speed proved to be gentle but effective. It is quiet in use and, I like that it is mains operated. The MELODYSUSIE Sheen Electric Nail File is advertised as a beginners nail drill. As a complete beginner I am very happy with my purchase. I cannot talk about manicures and nail colour removal, etc., because this was purchased purely for pedicure use, as mentioned above. The Podiatry service in our area ceased to use nail grinding devices due to the pandemic. They advised the use of an ordinary nail file to treat the thickened nails, but a file proved to be no match for the problem toenails, hence this purchase. Used WITH CARE, this will be a game changer for the person for whom it was purchased.

What A Fantastic Bit of Kit - Having To Do My Own Acrylic Infills
Due to my nail salon being closed because of COVID-19 I'm having to learn how to do my own acrylic infills & gel nail polish I've purchased Acrylic Powder, Monomer liquid, Kolinsky sable brushes, gel polish, this MelodySusie nail file as well as an UV/LED lamp To go along with this MelodySusie nail file I also got the MelodySusie Carbide Drill Bits as the ones you get included are really only suitable for natural nails I watched loads of videos how to do infills then had a go at it… I didn’t do too bad for a first go and my nails look pretty good This MelodySusie nail file is just fantastic. It’s super easy to use and I found it essential to know what speed you are using by the LCD display. I can’t imagine using an electric nail file without the display To remove the old gel nail polish as well as some of the old acrylic underneath I found using 10-11,000 rpm seemed about perfect using a carbide drill bit. It’s also great having a reverse switch so using my left hand to do my right hand After the carbide drill bit I used a sanding belt (180 grit) to smooth out the old acrylic and then applied the powder/monomer and once that was hardened used the carbide bit again followed by the sanding belt. I also used a Crystal File to shape the nail and used a sanding block all over the nail to smooth it before applying gel colour I used OPI Gel colour, cured under the Crenova UV/LED 72w Nail Lamp, then applied clear OPI top coat and cured again Ok they don’t look quite as good as the salon would do but I’m pretty pleased with them Definitely could not have done it without the MelodySusie nail drill. It looks and operates just like the ones the salon uses.. I can’t fault it and being so small and portable, with a long lead for the handset, was a godsend This nail file is a must have, especially if you’re doing your own acrylics, and I’d very highly recommended it

Good Nail Drill for Personal Use
I have been able to use this drill for my own nails and do my own gel nail extensions which I love! The drill is very easy to use and does the job to buff and drill with the attachments, one thing I would say is there is not a huge amount of drill speed adjustment or and official on or off button and you have to balance it properly but for the price and use - I’m happy with it! 😁 ** UPDATE ** 09.04.2021⚠️ My drill had stopped working after 3 months of use, I contacted Melody Susie directly to advise them of this, they contacted me back promptly, asked to send a video over of it not working whilst plugged in etc.. and confirmed replacement will be sent - this was resolved within 72 hours and replacement received! FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE! 🙌🏼

Good drill let down by poor quality power cable
I am a professional working in foot healthcare seeing about 6 - 8 patients daily of which two or three require drill work. In total I have had six Melody Susie nail drills in the past 18 months, all of which have the same issue and all have stopped working. On average they last three months. To be fair the manufacturer did replace three of the drills but this experience has still set me back over £210. You cannot say I have given up easily and I have given Melodysusie every chance to put matters right. The problem is that the copper wires in the cable between the battery and the handset are made of very poor quality "copper". I stripped the insulation back on several cables to see if I could effect a repair and found that the "copper" wire had corroded - it had turned black, become brittle and snapped. I would be happy(ish) if I could get (buy) a replacement cable but these are not available. You can get a replacement handset which includes the cable but at £65 you are better off with a whole set. This is incredibly disappointing as when working the drill is great but at £70 a throw these drills are just too expensive - better off buying a £350 drill with a two year warranty. I will not be buying any more and do not recommend any one else does either.

I am really impressed!
I bought this efile to try as an alternative to my more expensive one that is quite big and has to sit on my desk permanently. I like this portable file as it means I can put it in a draw out of the way rather than take up desk space. The price of this efile made me think that perhaps it wouldn't be up to the job. My how wrong was I? This little piece of kits is well worth the money and is a good little investment. I shall be using this a lot! The file itself is not too lightweight but light enough to know you are using it which is a good thing. The hand piece is very comfortable to hold. I like the fact that I can see on the screen the speed the efile is running at rather than guessing like my other one. It feels good quality, no vibration, is quite and no visible heat up problems. I am yet to test how long the battery lasts but I can update later on. As far as I am concerned this is a fab bit of kit for any nail technician either mobile or salon based. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is after an efile. What an absolute steal at this price. I will definitely be keeping an eye out on what other products melody suzie has in store.

Suitable for podiatrists
I am a home visiting podiatrist and often work with very thick toenails. My patients are very pleased when I reduce their toenail thickness quickly and painlessly with a drill. This drill has been brilliant. It is very sleek and easy to use. It is small, but quite powerful, and looks nice. Podiatric drills are usually priced from 300 pounds up, so this is undoubtedly a good value for money. Unfortunately it stopped working after almost 6 months of use, luckily it was still under warranty. I got in contact with the manufacturer and they sent me a new one! There are attachments included, and I also bought some more separately from Melody Susie. This way, I can sterilise them often. I recommend extending the warranty to 12 months (just email the manufacturer), then it becomes a truly fantastic deal!
