Make sure to think through where and how you use it. I've used mine in my garage, air handler and other rooms. I've had great results putting it in the bathroom and it sterilizes everything. Put it in there , let it rip for an hour then turn on the exhaust fan. I have multiple cats and will kick all the cats out and put the light in the room with the door shut. It eliminates cat odors extremely well. I've used it around their cat boxes as well and I can tell you it WORKS. Just be sure to get all cats and pets out of the room. It makes carpets smell better and blankets too. Just remember this light is "anti life", take using it seriously. My one complaint is that the top of the bulb on mine has a crack in it since I got it. Fortunately it works fine but I'm sure anyday now it's going to stop working. My bulb is not the 185nm but still makes a slight ozone smell....don't listen to reviews that say it smells harsh...it's doesn't. Open a window or turn on the exhaust vent and it sucks it out anyway. It's not strong smelling and at least to me, wasn't irritating at all.
