The Spice Way - Traditional Lebanese Zaatar with Hyssop is delicious and tastes very fresh. I like that there is only a tiny amount of salt added, the other spices and seeds are allowed to shine without too much salt. Besides the great taste, the thing I love the most is that there aren't any fillers like wheat which many brands use as well as no oil. The spices and seeds provide plenty of flavor. I like to use this spice in just about anything, whether it be soups and stews, casseroles, or just on pita bread with oil. Great product!

Having been around the world for many years, I have an ABSOLUTE LOVE of Middle Eastern cuisine. This Spice Way’s seasoning are amazing! It reminds me of flavors I used to enjoy during my travels. The Lebanese seasoning is fragrant and wonderfully fresh! I was REALLY pleased the package is not exposed to air and light, which can kill flavors over time. I mixed mine with an eggplant and potato sauté!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I ordered 3 packets and sent one to a family member. Now THEY are hooked! They put it on their lamb and couldn’t stop raving at the flavor. You will not be disappointed if you enjoy exotic flavors or have had the fortunate experience with Lebanese food. If you are a salt and pepper person, go easy. Either way its is delicious and has become a staple in my spice cabinet.

Great taste. The only thing I add are more toasted sesame seeds. Good on so many things.

Not crazy about the flavor; but I know it's healthful and a quality product.

I tried this spice blend after reading about another blend on a recipe blog. I found this one on Amazon and decided to try it because it's one of the few that doesn't use salt as a filler. It's a little pricy but sooooo worth it. I love to use it in vegetable dishes. I have also used it quite successfully on chicken, beef, pork and fish (salmon is the best). if you're looking to expand your spice repertoire, this is definitely one to consider! I have purchased this over and over again and have no desire to try the blend from any other company.

I am a newbie to this spice mix. I'm experiencing the many combinations of the different mixes. I choose this one because it was sold by a local small business. And I am not disappointed. I used the spice on chicken and bison meats. Delicious! Delivery was quick and flawless. Thank you Amazon delivery/

This is my preferred brand of Zaatar having tried more than several. Its a dry-style blend (some Zaatar has oil already mixed in) with Sesame Seeds and Sumac and no added salt. My favorite way to consume it is to bring it to a resto (in a spice shaker bottle) along with a small bottle of olive oil and combine them on a side plate to dip the fresh bread into. :D There are cheaper brands out there, but this one has always had consistent, high quality and is made with genuine Hyssop rather than substituting another herb(s).
