B456 Wall Mount ABC Dry 10 lb. Fire Extinguisher - Set of 2

Excellent product. Head and shoulders above your typical hardware store consumer fire extinguisher. Its big and heavy but if there's a fire I want something loaded with plenty of what I need to put the fire out. UPDATE: I turned my back yard lights on and a bird's nest in one of the lighting sconces heated up and burst into flames. Luckily I had walked outside and was wondering why I smelled smoke, and saw the sconce go from smoking to flaming. Ran inside and grabbed this extinguisher. The safety ring snapped off with firm but not significant resistance, and just a blip of pressure went a long way to extinguishing the fire. A couple more and it was out. Another and the embers were no longer glowing. A few more (after all the house was *on fire*) and I was finally satisfied that I could go back to bed safely. Next morning I saw that the extinguisher - which I over-used - was down to the 9 o'clock mark. Plenty left. I sent it off to be recharged. Boy oh boy was I ever glad I sprang the extra money (it still wasn't a lot) on a serious fire extinguisher so I had zero worries about capacity or effectiveness. TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY WHEN IT SAVES YOUR HOUSE.

finally a credible fire extinguisher. a bit hefty for a tote - but it handles most situations without fear of capacity.

These fire extinguishers arrived quickly and were well packaged. There was no breakage. They seem sturdy, heavy and like serious equipment. The only negative is the pins seem to want to fall out. I can say that I had four extinguishers from the hardware store, the size you often carry in vehicles, and even using all four, it was not enough to put out the fire in my truck. I figured I'd go for these 10 pounders and hope I never have to find out how well they work.

Great quality, could be packaged better the seal was broken on both but i had spares.

Great price. Installed on bucket truck to pass inspection. Hopefully never need them.

The shipping box was obliterated and honestly I was surprised they still delivered it like that. But, the manufacturers boxes covering the extinguishers protected them nicely. Worked out. The exterior box really should be secured with strapping tape or the equivalent. These things are obviously heavy and require additional securing to ensure they remain in the box.
