Excellent Low Dust Cat Litter - Purina Tidy Cats Delivers!
I recently purchased the Purina Tidy Cats Low Dust Clumping Cat Litter, specifically the LightWeight Free & Clean Unscented variant, and it has been a game-changer for both my cats and me. Here's why I'm giving it a five-star rating: Low Dust Formula: One of the standout features of this cat litter is its low dust formula. I've tried various litters in the past, and the dust was always a concern, especially for me as a cat owner. The Low Dust Clumping Cat Litter from Purina truly lives up to its promise, minimizing dust clouds during pouring and scooping. It's a relief for both my cats and my respiratory system. Effective Clumping: The clumping ability of this litter is impressive. It forms tight and sturdy clumps, making it easy to scoop and maintain a clean litter box. This feature contributes to the longevity of the litter, meaning I use less product over time compared to other brands. Lightweight and Convenient: The lightweight nature of this cat litter makes it easy to handle and pour. Carrying a 17 lb. box is much more manageable, especially for those with multiple cats. The packaging is sturdy, and the resealable top keeps the litter fresh and ready for use. Unscented Option: I appreciate the option for an unscented version. While some cats might not mind scented litters, my feline companions prefer the neutral odor of this variant. It's a win-win for both my cats and me, as it doesn't overwhelm the senses with artificial fragrances. Multi-Cat Approved: Having multiple cats can be a challenge when it comes to litter box maintenance. Purina Tidy Cats Low Dust Clumping Litter is designed for multi-cat households, and it effectively handles the demands of busy litter boxes. In conclusion, I highly recommend Purina Tidy Cats Low Dust Clumping Cat Litter to fellow cat owners. It's a reliable and efficient choice, focusing on low dust, excellent clumping, and overall convenience. The unscented option is a bonus for those looking for a more natural and neutral cat litter experience. It's become a staple in my household, and I'll continue to choose it for its outstanding performance.

Reliable and Effective Cat Litter
I’ve been using Purina cat litter for a while now, and it’s been very reliable. It clumps well, makes scooping easy, and does a good job controlling odors. I also like that it doesn’t produce a lot of dust compared to other brands I’ve tried. My cat adjusted to it right away, and the litter box stays cleaner for longer. Overall, it’s a solid, dependable choice and I’d definitely buy it again.

My new go-to.
This really works. There is no noticeable dust, I don't throw my back out carrying it into the house because it is lightweight, and it stays odor-free as advertised if you scoop it every couple of days. Win!

Pretty good.
I bought this to use in my self cleaning litter box, it does not stick to the bottom as much as other brands have but it is still a very high ammonia smell when it cleans and puts it into the bag. It clumps well. The price is good. I just wish there was a litter that didn't have the high ammonia smell in the self cleaning litter boxes. It also is kind of high tracking, but I keep rugs down.

Lightweight and lasts long
Dustier than my usual Simply Purrfect from Costco, BUT lightweight and lasts 3x longer for single cat owner.

Clumps Great, Lightweight, No Perfume, But it travels...
Okay. This is the litter I've been looking for. Pros: Light weight: I first sought this out for obviously carrying the litter home purposes, but it has other benefits such as the filled litterbox being not as heavy so easier to move to clean around. The spent litter is not has heavy so the trash is not as heavy either. I have 3 cats and OMG I feel like I'm taking out a baby elephant everytime I clean the box, but that's not as much a problem with lightweight litter. Aborbency- Yes. It does it well. The only times it has not absorbed 100% is user error, when my idiot cats decide to pee against the wall of the litterbox. The litter absorbs so well it forms a shell around the area, and the wetness can't seep past to be absorbed, so sometimes I scoop up a ball of stinky pee that is totally still wet on the inside. But if the cats go in the middle of the box, It's all clumped, dry, solid and with no urine odor Scent: OMG! It's TRULY UNSCENTED! I thanked the litter gods when opened the container and was not whooshed with a bunch of "lightly scented, or "almost unscented" but still chemically perfumed litter. I literally laughted out loud and placed another order. I don't want sweet fake smells, I don't want ANY smells, and my cats don't need to breath in perfumes just to take a piss. Cons: Okay. So, I discovered that light litter means light in ALL situations. That means that if some litter gets on the cats foot, then when they jump out of the box, Lightweight litter goes flying everywhere. Litter sticks to cats feet. So, If it's lightweight, it's going to fall off later than sooner and be carried farther from the box than a heavy clay litter. So, Yeah, I'm finding litter further from the box than ever before. Thank goodness I have a good vacuum cleaner. This is the only litter I will buy from now on ( until they change it or it becomes unavailable, that's what happens with all good products eventually)

Product works. Won't buy again. Here's why....
As someone who has been owned by these brilliant creatures for 30yrs (multiple sets) I have a GREAT deal of experience with litter. However, in a desperate effort to find a more modern and LIGHTER option, I decided to do a very expensive taste-test of sorts. I purchased EIGHT different brands. I compared them all against each other, as well as traditional brands ranging from the tree-hugger types (Dr. Elsey's - Precious Cat) and the more mainstream ones. As far as possible, all other conditions were kept the same. (This, of course, not being a lab or anything.) Here's the thumbnail: I prolly will give up on "lightweight" litter. There is simply no formulation that delivers safely. First, the scented ones -- Please do not do this to cats. They have exquisite olfactory sensory organs. As disgusting as the scented is for you -- it is ONE THOUSAND times worse for them. The scents are overwhelming and cling to the critters' hair. I do not like the scents but more importantly, neither do critters. Excessive licking/grooming follows after each use to get the scent off their coats. So -- I was excited when I found the unscented version of the one referenced (this one). [I had accidentally purchased the SCENTED one first.] How did it work? The truth is that this litter clumps well. The scent is undetectable. So why am I not happy? Here's why (in case the pic didn't give it away): 1) TRACKING: The lightweightness of this litter means it tracks like CRAZY. I've never seen this phenomenon so bad. The pic is after ONE use by each of two cats. Literally. I have moved the vacuum into the "cats bathroom" permanently. If they step in it damp, you will get NOT ONLY the litter but paw PRINTS everywhere (like, on your leather sofa....). (Oh, and it will stick between their toes if wet.) The tracking means it gets tracked throughout the ENTIRE house. You will find in your bed, on your sofa... everywhere the critter goes, you will find it. Which *might* be fine if it wasn't for the fact that... 2) INGESTION: Because the litter sticks to their paws (and fur) so easily, they are constantly grooming themselves. A couple times I snagged a lump right before it almost went into the treats-hole. This is disturbing to me, (but could be catastrophic for critters). But as bad as this is, the next thing that happened was worse... 3) TUMMY LICKING: The aggressive tummy licking started. My big boy has never in his life engaged in compulsive tummy licking (or "mowing" if you'd like the technical term) in his bikini area and legs/bum. The lightbulb finally went on for me after about two weeks (*&^%!). When I threw the first batch (Lightweight/Scented) out and went back to Dr. Elsey's -- he got better and the hair started to slowly grow back. Then I had the brilliant idea to try the UNscented version of this litter (this one) thinking that problem was maybe the scent? I was determined. Nope. He has just today (Day 2) started his aggressive "mowing" again.* I feel like such a ****head. My desperate need for "lighter" litter has created a real problem for my baby. So, yes, it goes into the garbage immediately and back to Dr. Elsey. For me (and I am a trained in the sciences) this is enough evidence that the "mowing" is related to the litter. Sure, there could be a third variable (confound) out there somewhere that coincidentally triggered this behavior. But The fact that my big boy began a behavior that subsided with the discontinuation of the product -- TWICE -- is enough evidence for me. BTW, my chubby-bubbie is a NO-drama-man-cat. He is NOT a delicate, illness-prone cat. He is a sturdy, laid-back, fun-loving, most awesome-personality-blessed Snowshoe in the world. He doesn't have allergies, isn't picky about food, loves every stranger he meets, etc. I think that's why this is hitting so hard. I hurt my precious bubbie. Just trying to find something that was more convenient for me. <sad face> I know this is a highly rated product. It may work well for others. But this was my (sad) experience. I desperately wanted a new, lighter litter. But I think the product science is just not there yet. Until they can make a product that cats are NOT ingesting or trying to lick off, it's simply not safe.

Your cat will appreciate it.
Well, it's cat litter. It clumps, it masks the smell, it's cheaper than buying it at store in town. Plus you can subscribe to it, if you're into that, or have a lot of cats, or a few cats that poop a lot.

Lightweight
Very lightweight as described! Easy to clean and clumps really well and best part is barely any dust as well for my fur babies. We are very happy with it.

Expensive but worth it.
Much lighter and easier to manage than standard clumping litter. Much lower dust than any of the regular clumping litters I used to use, all of which have slowly gotten worse in this regard. Stick with the unscented, the fragranced type smelled up half the house and the scent stuck to our cats fur. I reused the plastic pail and it still has the fragrance months later.
