So this does have rubber tread on the wheel??? i'm having trouble figuring out why this is $12 cheaper than the "pro" model. intrested in the tread.

$12 cheaper is good for me and you. I have this wheel for more than a year and my 6 packs has been deeper and deeper everyday by using this whee . The best product ever made for abs period. I love to use it everyday. It works!!!

Anyone have a problem with tons of white plastic flaking off? Only happens to the white version. Been happening since day 1 and it's driving me nuts!

Is it possible to remove the spring?

No. Why would you ? There are several good ones that don’t have springs

I do not know...probably China like most products... but I can confirm I've had it for about a year, use it regularly and its still functioning good as new
