Probably not. This is a 4500W element & you likely need a 5500W.

Is this element better than model sp10552mh which says resistered. does it provide faster recovery due to foldback design

Will this work in a rheem mobile home (model 82-30-1) electric water heater? unit is a 240v, single element, 30gal electric water heater.

What I did was go to the Rheem website and find the exact model heater I had and there you can find the part number for that part in your water heater then search for that on Amazon.

Direct replacement

This heater fits and works perfet!

Works great, no problems installing.

Our home was built in 2004, the water heater hasn't been replaced since then, a few months ago it stopped keeping the water as hot, so my husband had me research and order a replacement for him to install. He had no issues with the install, believe he watched an instructional video. Water heater is back to working great again.

Perfect replacement part

After some basic troubleshooting, we discovered the upper heating element needed to be replaced. This one did the trick and resolved the issue. It was amazing to see the state of the old one that was removed comparative to the new one. However, the installation was easy after getting the proper removal tool OR having a 1 inch deep well socket available.
