New 1000ml, 13pcs Glass Distillation Apparatus, Vacuum Distillation Equipment, Chemistry Lab Glassware Kit

THIS STILL WORKS GREAT VERY DURABLE HAS MORE THAT SETUP TO DO VARIOUS DISTILLATIONS.

I can’t confirm the glass type, but it seems to mostly be sturdy and strong, except the 1000ml flask arrived scratched near the neck, and cracked when it was heated. However even when it cracked, it remained mostly intact and nothing spilled- I have so much more faith in the glassware. The seller responded quickly, and was very helpful and immediately offered a replacement, however the replacement also broke for similar reasons. On a budget I think its decent compared to more well known brands which can cost 3-4 times as much, and I recommend the seller.

*see edit* I'm very disappointed with this glass. I immediately opened the box for inspection after arriving. Both flasks are defective and will not be able to distill anything without exploding. This entire set is not good. This was obvious to the seller that put it in the box in the first place. 0/5. Unless this is fixed, this was a total scam.***** Edit* a no cost replacement was sent in exchange for the original defective set. This video is the new one, I can only post one video apparently. It is a thicker mould and should perform satisfactory, despite the bubbles in the glass. There is visable condensation, due to arrival in the snow. It seems the seller has different qualities of sets. If you get an inferior product, absolutely replace it. Rating changed to reflect the replacement.*

I received my items on time however, the 1000ml flask is broken. The fractionating column is chipped and has hazardous air pockets at the joints. I need both replaced please. UPDATE: I returned my damaged product and received a replacement within three days. Upgrading from 1 Star to 3 Stars.

This kit came with everything I needed to begin reclaiming solvents used in plant material extractions (essential oils, etc). Each piece of glass arrived in tact, and the unit performed flawlessly. I would definitely recommend it to someone looking for a good starting point. I think if there was one thing I could tell a person before they buy this rig, I would tell them to order a double neck boiling flask.... this way you can insert a temp probe into the liquid being heated instead of trying to figure out the transfer loss (heat) caused by heating in a hot water bath....

Everything showed up fine but the thermometer was broken 4 outta 5. I done need the thermometer but it would be nice to have

I bought this kit for many uses such as fuels, solvents, etc. The kit arrived in good shape, well-packed and wrapped in gift wrapping paper. Glass was chip, crack, and bubble free. This kit seemed the best buy for the money. Of course there are other things you need to get such as stands/supports/heat. Rubber tubing for condensor jacket is enough, but don't use this as vacuum tubing; get stuff rated for vacuum. Most important, grease the joints before joining! Arbee
