I wish I found this keyboard first
This is my third iPad mini keyboard, and it is by far the best. The first --a very different model-- was also by Logitech, but I dropped it and broke it. I was able to super-glue it, but it was not quite as secure and I was nervous I would drop it again, particularly with its smooth exterior surface (which is why I dropped it in the first place). The second one (I have no idea who made it) was poorly designed/had extremely poor functionality. It did not connect easily (the initial pairing was simple but it was never simple after that), and the keys were so small I couldn't type without typos anyway. This keyboard is different than both the others. The folio attaches snugly, pairs easily, has a great matte finish that makes it easy to hold on to, has a keyboard with large keys (not quite as large as the keys on my Surface keyboard, but VERY large compared to about a dozen keyboards I've seen), and has maximum functionality when used as a tablet as well as configured using the keyboard (the top folds halfway back in a non-intuitive but effective way to allow use as a tablet without detaching the mini from the folio). The only thing I have not tried is to use the keyboard in the portrait mode. I know it would work by simply pulling the mini out of the case and propping it up against the case, but I can't speak with authority on that because I have not needed the Logitech keyboard for use in the portrait mode yet. But the folio is exceptional quality, great in terms of functionality, has large keys, and it looks nice too. It is by far the best mini keyboard I have seen.

Initially, I was going to give it 3 stars...
When I first got this, I asked myself why I paid to much for this little add-on. The keys seemed awkward (due to the size of the keyboard, your hands don't feel centered) and I wondered how much I would really use it. However, I decided I would keep it and make the most of it, and after a while it really grew on me.First of all, the build quality is very good. The outside cover has a nice sot feel to it, the magnets feel strong, and the keyboard feels durable. Construction looks very good and it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. There's only one upright position, which feels a little tall, and over time my hands got used to the off center keyboard layout. I understand though, that there is not much that can be done about the off center keyboard layout and single upright stand option. The iPad Mini is a small tablet so there aren't many other options. This product was engineered to fit those constraints nicely.I don't have any comment on battery life, since the keyboard has never died on me. I always forget to turn it off, maybe it goes into sleep mode? I plug it in every few days and don't know how to check the battery life. Perhaps there's a way but until the day I get stuck with a dead accessory, I won't worry about it.

Only fits…..
This does not fit the iPad mini 6. Too bad bc it would have been light and perfect

Flawed design or materials
I'm on my second replacement following the cracking of the plastic case near the power button. I haven't had this third on long enough to know if it will last.I requested a refund after the second one failed, filled out the form they sent for a refund and was then told I would receive another replacement.Others have experienced the cracking in the same area. Seems like a design flaw.If not for the flaw of the bracket, I am happy with the case.UPDATE: THIRD FAILURE! Exact same issue. Therefore reducing to two stars.UPDATE: Following the recent email exchange with Logitech customer care, I must reduce this to one star.Customer Care stated that the plastic may be cracking because the iPad mini with Retina is thicker than the iPad 1. I was then told I could contact them by phone or visit the website for additional information.I chose this product because it stated it was compatible with the iPad mini with Retina (see photo of box)

Keyboard adds value and enjoyment to Ipad use
The Keyboard Folio has added to my enjoyment of my Ipad Mini. I'm an excellent touch typist with small hands. There's only one place on the keyboard that I hit accidentally, and with practice, that's not an issue anymore. My first attempt to synch with the Ipad was frustrating. I'm not sure what was happening, but the words showing on the screen were not the words I was typing. It's possible that the keyboard was set to the wrong language. After going online and making sure all the settings were for English, I was able to successfully synch. I agree that it would be better if the on/off switch wasn't covered by the keyboard corner; however, since the Ipad goes to sleep when I close the cover, that hasn't been a problem. I unhook it once a week to turn it off completely and that isn't a big issue for me.The pictures of the Ipad laying flat are somewhat misleading. At this point, I haven't found a comfortable way to use the Ipad sitting on the keyboard in that way. It's too easy to accidentally hit the keys on the keyboard. I'm still at a 5 rating because the Ipad and keyboard together meet my needs in retirement beautifully--for a Kindle and Nook reader, Web browser, using either Gdocs or other document apps for journaling, and synching with my Iphone.
