After seeing Oak & Bond on a YouTube video I quickly opened Amazon and placed my order. I knew I had to try this coffee and I didn't want to wait. The packaging is classy, and well thought out, but when I opened that bag, and could smell the beans, I almost ate them straight from the bag. The aroma was amazing and I couldn't wait to measure out the mix and get it brewed. I wasn't disappointed, the coffee had a good, bold but drinkable front end followed by a subtle aftertaste of bourbon. You know, just enough to make you want that next sip. I can't wait to perfect the brewing process so that I can get the most out of this coffee, because the first brew out of the bag was certainly enough for me to buy this brand over and over again.

I can't believe their are negative reviews of this product! I hope for starters that you know/understand how to properly grind your beans for whatever brewing process your using. I have had amazing success with this product with an espresso machine, french press, and pour over. I absolutely love the flavor of this bourbon coffee. As a Chef I've also had a lot of success using this as a more unique version of an affogato dessert. I used it with a honeycomb gelato that I made and it was beautiful! May work on an "old fashioned" inspired one too ;) Obviously taste is always subjective but I think this coffee is spectacular!

The flavor is amazing. Very natural not overpowering.

The second you open the bag you are treated with a cloud of bourbon bliss with notes of coffee! You instantly get excited about the cups in your future. The bourbon notes are creamy oak with a touch of caramel and marshmallow. It finishes with the chocolate bitterness of the coffee and warms the soul. I’m always open to trying bourbon aged coffee beans, but these are head and shoulders above the completion! I look forward to trying their other varieties! Worth every penny!

Let me start off by saying that this coffee makes an exceptional cup of joe. OMG. To me, it has a fortified wine flavor when you open the bag. It has the reminiscent oak and sweet aromas from the barrels they are stored in. The Moka pot makes a damn strong cup. But, its what one needs for a long day in the office. I will purchase more of this coffee. If you love bourbon barrel aged anything, buy this product. You will not be disappointed!

My husband has always gifted me gifted for holidays, birthdays and anniversaries. This year I surprised him with this. We have tried bourbon barrel aged coffee in the past and loved it so I wanted to try another. The smell when it brews is intoxicating! The taste is great! Will be buying again. Plus, the tin is awesome and it comes with a handy clip to keep the coffee fresh!

If you are a fan of the oakyness of bourbon, you will enjoy this coffee. It’s certainly not for everyone, but it absolutely adds character to a bold beverage. I usually drink my coffee with other flavors, but I found myself just adding some steamed milk and enjoying the flavor of the coffee itself. It was nice to find a coffee that didn’t have the overpowering artificial flavors of typical flavored coffee but instead complemented the flavor of the coffee with qualities that made the final product better than the sum of the parts.
