Harbinger Firm Fit 7.5-Inch Contoured Weightlifting Belt

First off, the belt is built so it's wider at the back and thinner at the front. This is bad build for a belt. A belt is not meant to support your back itself, it's meant to give you something to expand your abs against and contract and thus allow you to contract the muscles that support your spine (your 'core' muscles) better. Thus the belt should be the same width all around. The part that ends up supporting your abs is as wide as the thin part in front. So it's not very sturdy.Secondly, the thing is just kinda flimsy. It's way too elastic, and you need to squeeze it really hard to get anything out of it. But then it squeezes you even when you relax your abs. I'd recommend a proper leather belt. More comfortable and more sturdy. I don't think you should be cheap when buying something that is meant to protect your health.

I wanted a lifting belt that provides more support than your typical style belt (straight). I came across this one by Harbinger, but could not find any reviews about this product. However, since other Harbinger weight lifting belts get very good reviews, and this is a "new and improved" model advertised on Harbinger's website, I figured I'd give it a shot.Well, I made a good choice. I used the belt today for the first time and I'm very happy with it. It is very comfortable to wear (the inside lining is soft and will not scratch you), very easy to adjust (you put the belt through the metal loop and pull it tight to your desired pressure), and stays firmly in place while you do your lifting exorcise. Finally, and most importantly, my back felt very well supported throughout the entire workout.Bottom line, it's worth the the money and you'll like it to. I highly recommend this product to all.

Belt is ok....couldn't wait for it to arrive. It did today but must return it. I ordered an XL that should have fit my 42" waist....wow, it was small to about minus 6 inches. what a disappointment.

I use this belt mainly for deadlifts and stiff legged deadlifts.This belt is very comfortable. With this belt I am able to go heavier in weight and concentrate more on my hamstrings when doing stiff legged deadlifts. Without this belt I felt my lower back tighten up before my hamstrings reached failure. This belt is exactly what I needed!

Belt is way to small for me I'm a 32/34 inch waist and the large is way too small. Sucks. Can't exchange as i bought in the USA while on a trip and I'm back home in Brazil. A waste of money

Belt does not stay tight. The Velcro does not keep the belt in place and it opens when you move. Buy something with a buckle. I am.
