Same seed as my Family, Navajo corn, looks grows and tastes the same.
In every way and detail this corn is the same corn my Family been growing for several hundred years I can account for the actual seed. I do not know how this seed performs across the more North tribes, but for the way South Tribes it does well all year round here (SW four corners area) depending upon Elevation and Latitude it grows year round. Just keep in mind, if you wish to grow this corn outside of my known world it will be like growing corn on the moon. In my current Zone, I have seen Summer day temperatures up to 127 degrees F. Water is always at issue, but learn to ride the water in the Sky tide and you can grow this corn all over the planet, as I have in (US Trust Territories). Bees died out decades ago, water cycle is messy and predators eat anything left not attended. I grow my corn, in built up clumps of waste drift wood combined with burned ash of the same wood, all kinds of animal/human manure- during October thru January. Sow Seed anytime between mid Jan to Feb (whenever conditions favor). Sit back wait until First Tastle, then collect pollen into a catchment every morning for pollinating female corn at the same time as collection. Sit back and if blessed you have harvest. This Corn is best combined in the same hill with Squash and Beans as well as tuber roots (Pappa, SunChoke, asparage). Well planned, planted and occasionally tended wild gardens can and do provide continued support unto many indiginous peoples around our world.

Soooooo beautiful!
Saw this and HAD to try it (purple is my favorite color). Started it later than other corn I planted (this is also the first year I've tried corn). Good germination rate. I was pretty much out of space to grow at that time and it put it in a half barrel. It did dandy. Just harvested my first two ears, off the same stalk. The smaller one was a little over half pollinated (pic of the good side lol). The bigger one had kernals all expect the tip. Both are GORGEOUS. Look just like advertised. I'll have to see how the ears on the other stalks turn out. (I'm waiting for them to dry.) I grew them for decoration. Couldn't be happier.

Kept Waiting… But Nothing Sprouted
Completely let down. I made sure these seeds had water three times daily and plenty of sunlight, but none of them germinated. So disappointing

Not exactly it
It does give some very colorful purple corn, not as shiny or as vibrant as the picture but it does give pretty purple corn, would recommend just know it is not like the picture

Overall, would buy again
Mine didn’t turn out too shabby. One decent ear per stalk. Worms ate a little on the end, like they do on all my corn. Had to replant about 15 seeds that didn’t come up.

Fantastic TALL healthy and sturdy stocks
*UPDATE*: got my first glimpses of the corn and i am very excited to get it ready for popcorn. I may dry several of them out as fall decor too. So pleased with this crop. I planted 9 seeds and sowed them indoors this year and then stuck them in the ground around may. They are TALL and every stock has at least 2 ears of corn growing. I will update my review when its harvest time so I can determine if the colors came out right but for now I am tickled as can be about the success of growth. This is my first time planting corn for fun and I look forward to making the dead stocks into cool halloween decor later this year and harvesting the corn regardless of whether its for eating or making more decor.

Fantastic germination rate
All the seeds we planted germinated and were growing beautifully. We went out of town for memorial day weekend and left our teen in charge of the garden. She unfortunately didn't stop the chickens from having the best time of their lives in said garden and they are every single stock.... 2 survived and have grown leaves back, but I'm so bummed to only have 2 out of the original 20+ we had. So, awesome product, good growth rate, and apparently very tasty to chickens!
