I live in a small village and we have power cuts and this light is so much brighter and safer than candles and easier to use than torches. It is also an excellent light for use in hotels that often have low light levels and bedside lights that are difficult to switch on. Highly Recommended. Pros Well made Excellent levels of brightness. Can easily read with this light by your side. Lasts for many hours even on full light. Easy and quick to charge. Adhesive metal stickers are great for securing the light for storage. The magnetic surface on the light can be useful. Good size for travel light. Cons None at this price.

Bought one of these for our Motorhome in September for wild camping and darker nights. So pleased with its longevity and brightness I ordered another so we could position one at the front as well as the rear of the van. I bought extra magnets so we can reposition them as needed. (Now we have little or no sunshine to solar charge our batteries.) We find the lower setting quite bright and is ideal for general use.

I wrote a review after owning this item for only a short time, Now, after using it for a couple of years i am able to give a more informed impression. My overall impression is that this is still a very useful and durable light which has stood the test of time. However the claimed duration at full output has been under 3 hours. (considerably less than the claimed 30 hours at the time of purchase.) It is still a quality product. But requires recharging more frequently than i was lead to believe! I would recommend leaving it connected to a power source via it`s USB if long periods of illumination are required.

Perfect for use in my awning whilst camping. Magnet allows attachment to different surfaces and as it can be charged by usb, it is perfect for camping trips. Battery lasts well and the different brightness levels allow you to "Set the mood". Unfortunately me "setting the mood" was an unsuccessful mission. I'll try using the light with some gin next time.

Good light & very robust. Found this out because I fitted it on a ceiling in a cupboard with the supplied sticky metal pads but it kept falling off. Fitted 2 metal strips for it to attach to and has not fallen off since.

What a splendid litle strip light this is. Absolutely spot-on for behind my kitchen sink. One side kept slipping off the magnetic fixer but that was easily remedied by a tiny piece of velcro put on the fixer to stop that - a mere detail and fixed in a few minutes. What is so wonderful is that no electric cable is involved and the three levels of light are excellent - the middle one being completely adequate. Although not interested, I can well see how this would be excellent for portable use in lighting up dark corners, etc. First Class!

Picked this on the recommendation of my friend Michael, who uses one in his garage when working on cars. I'll be using it for lighting my loft, lighting under my desk when making quick checks and changes to my PC and for a background light when filming videos. Not sure about battery life as yet, but I'm impressed with the three levels of brightness. There's a few flashing modes too (which I have no interest in). All light modes, and switching on and off, is controlled by a single power button. The provided micro B usb cable is super short. Fine for charging, but a longer cable would have been useful for charging when it's on. Not a problem for me as I have several spare cables for it. Keeping it plugged in will let me record videos without worrying about it losing battery. It's a simple little light, but its easy to use and is really bright for its size. It can be stuck to magnetic surfaces. Stickers are also provided for non-metal surfaces. Pleased with the purchase.

Very good product, very bright if you chose the most bright setting (3rd one). Used in kitchen to light the work top. Dont see the use of SOS or flashing mode. Should have chosen the one with presence sensor. Strong magnet, no risk of falling, can be use on any other metallic part. Can't comment yet on battery live.
