They are not fake as far as i know. i got them from a retail store. The box looks legit and the speakers seem like the real deal. let me know if you want pictures of the box/speakers.

They can handle serious wattage. I mean I'm pushing 100w a channel. They sound amazing. I think they can handle 150 per channel. Buy them best speakers I ever owned. I had Alpine type R before. They sound like trash next to these.
