Ringside Boxing Training Heavy Duty Bag Spring (Up to 150 pounds)

I have a 100 lb heavy bag and this works great. No question of it falling. Very sturdy.

I mounted a 100lb punching bag to a wall mount and two studs in my 2 car garage. Every time I would punch or kick the bag hard, you could hear the entire garage and garage door shake. After adding this spring, the surrounding sound and vibration has largely went away. The spring has a lot of heft. It looks and feels really heavy duty. Time will tell but I’m confident it will last a long time. I was concerned about the wear the bag was adding to my home but I feel much better about it after adding this spring. I definitely recommend it if you have the same concerns.

I have this holding up my punching bag which is 80 pounds in weight. The spring is advertised as being able to support up to 150 pounds. I’d say it can certainly hold that amount and likely more. At ~140 pounds I decided to hang on my punching bag to see the effect it would have on the spring. I didn’t hang on for very long however, the only thing I noticed was it just started to open up by a couple of millimeters on the top few coils. Using my advanced math skills I can vouch that this spring will support up to 220 lbs if not more ( although I’d probably stick to the advertised max for longevity) When using the punching bag I can hear and feel the spring absorbing the forces placed upon it. This is one heavy duty spring!

Im using it for a 90 lb punching bag. The spring stays fully compressed unless the bag bounces, and then it gives a little. It takes all the noise out of the support beam so it doesnt make noise throughout the house.

This is super heavy duty! I am using it with a 65 Lb bag and it barely stretches any...can definitely hold a lot more weight than that. The spring allows the bag and the area to absorb the shock and not pass it to where it’s screwed into the beam which reduces vibration in the house and also keeps it from swinging wildly. Great product and a must have for any punching bag.

I use this on a 100lbs heavy bag, the tension seems just right. I had to shorten the bag chain to account for the 6” length of the spring so my head punches land more in the middle of my bag. I like the simplicity of the hook, it makes hanging the bag by yourself very easy and hasn’t fallen off yet during a workout. The hook clearance is small, it won’t come off my ceiling hardware without the removal of a bolt, however the steel ring on my bag is narrow enough to pass over the hook very easily. I can see it flexing quite a lot, absorbing a lot of shock from the ceiling joist.

The springs design is perfect. However the finishing of the product could’ve been better. It’s as if they ran out of spray to finish the product…

Ya tengo como 2 semanas con él y desde que lo puse se notó gran diferencia. Donde tengo el costal hay techo y una puerta de metal, y sonaba muy fuerte con cada golpe. Ahora el resorte absorbe el impacto y dejó de temblar todo. No se que tango dure, pero lo volvería a comprar.

Solid spring, no issues whatsoever for the purpose of holding a heavy bag. Only thing that came up was that the hooks are more narrow than the meister joint I got, so the spring would "jump" back and forth making a loud noise (when the bag was punched/swayed along a 1 specific axis), but it's died down now. No issues otherwise.
