Just got it installed today, and with unequal length headers this muffler sounds like a stromüng or a flowmaster dbx, for a fraction of the cost. Muffler is powder coated black and is a very solid build, gives the car a really clean and low profile look to it. Produces a very clear and deep rumble when you get on the throttle but does not give you any droning noise when cruising on the highway or at lower rpm's. 5 star product no question, this muffler is WELL worth the money for anyone wanting to get both the iconic Subaru sound and not compromise cabin quietness while cruising on the highway.

Got this for my 02 Camry 4cyl and paired with the Vibrant Ultra quiet resonator 2.25. Produces a full deep sound when you rev. w/o the rev it is quiet and that's just how I want it to be!

Bought for my 2012 Civic (RIP), wanted something to overpower the engine sound without rattling the fillings in my teeth. Mission Accomplished, what a great design. Straight-through design, nice low rumble, gives out a nice growl under power but keeps a low profile on the regular, even on the highway. Highly recommend this muffler. Accomplishes what a $500 system will for a fraction of the price, if you want it to be louder have the muffler shop cut out the resonator (most vehicles have them nowadays), cost me about $150 counting shipping, and installation. I kept my resonator though, didn't want it that loud.

I was not familiar with Vibrant before, but it seems like they make a lot of really good quality exhaust stuff. These mufflers are very nice, they have a straight through flow. You can literally look in one end and see right out the other, so there is not much restriction in flow. They have a very nice sound also, without the drone that several other "performance" mufflers I tried had.

Louder than I thought but does the job , assembly was not easy

love the sound over the old fart can exhaust. super deep at idle and while in town, I can hear the radio clear and no drone. starts to growl at higher RPM but still sounds amazing. FYI, if you have stainless steel exhaust piping youll need to make a sleeve to attach the Vibrant to your existing ehaust

Its only a tad bit louder than stock muffler. (I have Cai and Headers) I took the car on a 4 hour road trip and it sound good and subtle on normal driving. You’ll hear the difference on spirited driving and full throttle.

I absolutely love this muffler. Rasp is almost non existent, especially at high rpm which is good because i have a 02 civic si with a k20a3 so i cant have the usual farty civic :). And its DEEP. Very good buy. I wouldnt trade this style for any other, being black and 3 inch rather than the usual 4 that everyone gets, it doesnt give off the fartcan vibe. Extremely recommended
