Easy to use to keep dog's teeth clean
Years ago a board certified veterinary dentist recommended this to me. It does work and keeps my dogs' teeth staying clean with minimal tartar. This has kept teeth just as clean or cleaner than daily brushing did and it is a whole lot easier to sprinkle on their food than brushing too. My dogs' teeth were in good shape and pretty clean when I first started using this- and this helps keep them this way. It definably does help prevent tarter build up. My dogs do not require professional dental cleanings using this. I can't speak to how well it works if started when a dog's teeth are already in need of cleaning. My dogs do not seem to mind the taste either. I just sprinkle this on their food. I even used this when I fed raw.

Great Product and It Works!
This stuff works great! We have a Lab - mix and use this product on his food everyday. Our dog will a year come November and I must say that his teeth are white...no yellow whatsoever. I purchased Sea Dent back in May of '25, and still have some left. It lasts that long!

Takes away bad breath, not sure if teeth are cleaner, definitely nutritional
Not sure if it had any dental effects but his breath definitely stinks less. Either way, kelp is super nutritional for the dog.

Seems to work well. We could tell a difference in our dog’s breath within a week.

It Really Works! -With a Small Scoop, the Container Lasts a Very Long Time!-
I was skeptical because I had given my dog a different brand of dental powder for about four weeks and it didn't work. That one had kelp and a probiotic plus other ingredients. My dog's breath wasn't good and didn't seem to change at all during use. Then I tried Sea-Dent, which also has kelp as one of the active ingredients. Lo and behold, after a couple of weeks my dog's breath was no longer noticeable, even close-up! Frankly, I was pretty shocked. I had almost given up on these powders after my first experience with that other brand. I'm so glad I didn't. What's even better is that the scoop is less than half the size of the other brand I had tried. I give my dog one scoop per day, which is the recommended dose for a 55-lb. dog like mine. At that rate the container will last well over two months, making this a great value! I feed my dog dry food only, twice per day, morning and afternoon. I give him Sea-Dent with his second feeding (see photo). He definitely has no problem with the smell, taste, or texture of the powder and might even like the taste. It seems easy for him to digest. But then I also give him Purina FortiFlora which has normalized his digestion. I would be sold on this product just for its positive effect on my dog's breath, but the bonus is that it also cleans his teeth. I don't see much tartar build-up at all, so if his teeth stay that way, I'll be happy. For the low cost this comes out to per month, I think Sea-Dent is well worth it and I'll be buying more!

Excellent product
My sister's little dog is very, very old and not a good candidate for dentistry. Her teeth were horrible. I could smell them as soon as I walked into the room. Since she has been on DeaDent, she has lost weight (which was needed), her mouth does not smell, her teeth are much cleaner, she can hear better and she is brighter and more energetic. I am using this for all my my dogs. It is a terrific product. As an update for my review above: my sister's old dog [a dog in her late teens] did not lose the serious plaque and tartar build up on her teeth with the use of this product. The enzymes did loosen some of the plaque and get rid of the terrible smell of disease and rotting teeth. Her mouth still had bad plaque from years of neglect, periodontal disease and kidney disease. I noticed the smell from her mouth was gone after about a month or so of giving the seadent in her food. I had continued to give her Seadent in her food for at least 6 months before I wrote my first review. The enzymes were a boost to the dog's digestion and her over-all condition improved enough that I was able to get her checked for a teeth cleaning at the vets. My younger dogs [1 puppy under a year and the rest 3 to 11 yrs. old] are all being given Seadent now. I believe it is preventing plaque and tartar build up because their teeth look good. I still love the product and encourage its use.

EXCELLENT for Fighting and Getting Rid of Plaque on your Doggy's Teeth - HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I recommend this to everyone I know. One of my friend's just recently thanked me because his doggy's breath went from gross to fresh in about a month. It truly gets rid of plaque and helps doggies teeth and gums. My friend introduced me to this back in 2017 after her 14 year old dog's teeth saw a huge improvement (her vet couldn't believe it), so I have been using it on my dog every since. My dog's breath is perfect now, unless she has a tummy ache. This stuff is the best. I sprinkle it on my dog's food in the morning, it doesn't have a strong scent at all. AND my dog has a very sensitive nose AND sensitive tummy and if this hurt her in any way or she was turned off by it, I would never use it - but I've been using it for years. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend. I never want to put her under to get her teeth cleaned unless I totally have to (so far, I don't have to and I do NOT brush her teeth).
