Plants and flowers.
Works well. I used it as a filler for my outside beds. Tops everything off and finishes it out nicely. It has a perfect consistency for an outdoor bed. By putting in the new soil it prevents insect infestation's. It also makes a great mixer soil. Great buy for your money. It comes in a big bag like real soils does. Yet itโs easy to handle and lift.

Quality Soil!
Great soil! Good amount of chunk, it has good water absorption and good drainage. Smells nice and the price is nice, too.

Great soil
I've been using this dirt for over a year and love what I am seeing so far. Moisture retention is very good in Utah, as is its consistency. I used the 40 lb bag, and its weight is exactly 40 pounds. As far as a bug problem goes, I have seen none. My roses are doing well, and my tomatoes did great last year. The soil has what it needs to do well in Utah.

Great quality soil, very chunky though
Line the headline says, the soil is great quality, it's very chunky with branches, wood chips and other compost items which is good but if you're looking to plant seedlings, I would go through the soil and take them out and loosen up the dirt itself before putting in seed trays. I, of course, throw the branches and other chunky items in my garden and compost so it's still worth it. Definitely get 2 bags, 1 is not enough for sure.

Michigan soil
very good soil, I mixed it with some soil that I had left over in a container , and it worked. I'm using it in my 3 gallon containers for my hostas

Not impressed but at least it was cheap
Not what I expect from potting soil. Too much clay. Too many pieces of half composed branches. Not enough sand. Retains water well... not necessarily in a good way. Clots up into hard lumps as it dries. Needs a course mesh seive to remove the junk in it and to mix the organics into it. Not horrible. Not great either.

Need more!
My only problem is that this is the biggest bag Iโve found. This gave me the most success with my plants so far.
