If you have acne, there's really only one ingredient out there that works - benzoyl peroxide. The other ingredients, such as salicylic acid (which is found in many common over-the-counter acne washes, including Neutrogena's), simply do not work. This is because benzoyl peroxide actually kills the bacteria that causes acne, whereas salicylic acid does not. With this in mind, it only makes sense to find a maximum strength benzoyl peroxide wash. Many of the 10% benzoyl peroxide washes on the market are prohibitively expensive, costing nearly 20 bucks for an 8 fl. oz. bottle. Enter Amazon's Solimo 10% Benzoyl Peroxide wash, which is here to undercut the competition. For ~6 bucks, you get a 5 fl. oz. bottle of 10% benzoyl peroxide. This is clearly a better value than what the other guys are offering! You can get double the product with Amazon's Solimo brand than you would with the 20 dollar product. As for the product itself, it's great. I've been using it for a week now and it works! The product has a consistency that is thicker than a normal face wash; it feels like applying lotion. I think this is a good thing because the product does a better job of adhering to your face, and is less likely to drip down to your eyes, which will sting if it happens. Other reviewers complained about the fragrance, but I found nothing wrong with it. In fact, I think it smells great! Like most benzoyl peroxide products, this product may dry your skin, so it's best to pair it with an oil-free moisturizer.

About me: I'm an african american female. Skin type: Combination I want to first start off saying, if you have dry skin, I would recommend using this in moderation. If you are using this for the first time, DO NOT let it sit on your skin for longer than 5 seconds because it does have a burning sensation. I would also say not to use everyday when you're first starting out. With all that being said I love this product. The first week I used it everyday at night as a quick face wash. After that I was able to use it everyday and let it sit for about 10 seconds and wash it off. Definitely moisturize after using it, even if you have oily skin (use a lighter moisturizer). Ladies when you're PMS'n and having a bad break out this is your go to, it helped keep my breakout to a minimum. The smell is not horrible, but it dosen't smell like flowers either lol. You don't need much. Once your skin builds up a tolerance to it, you should be able to use morning and night if you like. Its a really good face wash to use right before you apply aloe vera gel! If you have SENSITIVE skin I would try a small patch first to see how your skin reacts to it. Overall I would recommend.

Overall I like this product, and the price is excellent. I have used Panoxyl in the past, but their newer formula does not clean well and I found it to not work as well as the original formula, so I tried this. This does have a strong scent that is not pleasant to me. Part of it is menthol, which does have a slight cooling effect, but there is something else in the scent that is unpleasant. This stuff bleaches towels and other fabric like crazy, even after thorough rinsing. I never had that experience with Panoxyl. Anyway, bear this in mind when you dry your face with a colored towel.

This absolutely changed my skin. I was using Benzoyl products from a local skin clinic, but due to Covid shutting everything down, I could no longer get my products. So I searched Amazon and found this super cheap. I didn't think it would suffice compared to the top dollar I was paying at the skin clinic, but man was I wrong. This stuff works even better than all that expensive stuff I was getting! I am so mad I didn't take a before picture to show how drastically my face and neck have healed up!!! At this rate I have no plans to go back to my skin clinic. I use this in conjunction with "Amazon Brand - Solimo 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Medication" and " RejuveNaturals Vitamin C Serum Plus 5% Hyaluronic Acid, 2.5% Retinol, 2% Salicylic Acid, 3.5% Niacinamide" This combination is a lifesaver and so much cheaper than what I was paying, for even stronger ingredients! That equates to about $21.24 at current prices for all 3 items! (I was paying around $150 at the skin clinic) However, be aware that if you are just starting out, your skin will peel and purge out everything that's been accumulating inside. Don't use benzoyl around your eyes. My skin is used to these ingredients so I saw results in a week or less.

I am obsessed with this face wash! I'm 32 and I've had mild acne since I was a teenager. I kept expecting it to get better with age and I've tried a million face cleansers with little success. I started using this product and within a day I could tell my skin was clearing up. After the second day, I noticed some redness and irritation so I skipped a day. My skin was VERY dry and itchy at first but I read online to power through and give my skin time to adjust. I've found it works best if: 1. I use it only once every day and sometimes skip a day if my skin is at all dry or itchy. 2. I wash it off extremely thoroughly and then still rinse a second time. 3. I apply a good face lotion morning and night My skin is perfectly clear and I haven't had a single breakout in almost two weeks now. So happy with this product!
