A no BS review - (Everlast Train Advanced MMA 7-Ounce Striking / Training Gloves)
These are my primary bag gloves. For the longest time I used conventional Everlast boxing gloves for my bag work but never really liked the feel. So I transitioned to these and man do I love them. I get to utilize more hand movement and feel less restricted, which is great. Yeah sure, I feel my punches a bit more but that's what happens when you transition from 14oz bag gloves to 7oz MMA gloves. Obvious trade-off is increased hand fatigue. These are very easy to put on, can't say the same for my conventional boxing gloves. You can really wreck your wrists if you don't utilize hand wraps. The wrist support and the foam over the knuckles is good but I cannot stress it enough, use wraps. I was dumb and injured my right wrist when I admittedly got lazy one time and skipped the process all together. Price wise this is wonderful and the quality is good for the most part. The stitching is beginning to fray a bit and the leather like material over the foam is starting to wear which is making me consider logging a little less time with these during my sessions. Also it is also worth noting that these will reek of some strange chemical-like smell, it's not necessarily all that bad but it's still worth noting.I have "average" hands. Ordered a large, they were fine. The sizing gods smiled upon me,Good buy!

Comfortable
These are really comfortable. I'm a woman who is 4'11 and my hands are pretty small. These fit perfect and are not too tight or too big. My only con is that the wrist wraps around several times. This is the design and not due to the size of my hands. They have the perfect thickness. I use these for Karate.

There is a chemical odor to them that doesn’t dissipate easily. Looking to see how long he stitching around ...
Got these to use in my mma/grappling class. Was looking for an inexpensive set of gloves to use and came across these. Chose a s/m size since there were no small sizes in itself available. For the price it’s not too shabby. There’s thick padding that covers the front knuckles and fingers, and over the thumb. There is a chemical odor to them that doesn’t dissipate easily. Looking to see how long he stitching around the fingers will last before they become undone. Wrist support could be improved as it feels loose, but maybe inpart of the size variance. All in all, not a bad product!

They’re just okay
Do yourself a favor, spend the extra $5-10 and buy the Venum Challenger 3.0MMA sparring gloves. These aren’t bad, but the level of comfort, and how much less bulky the Venums are, make them much more worth the money. I spar anywhere between 4-6 days a week (I don’t hit the heavy bag with these Gloves, that’s what actual boxing gloves are for) and these started to just fall apart especially on the knuckles within a few weeks.

Functionally great, but smell like a burning oil field.
Functionally these things are great, I use them twice a week for live sparring the last several months and they're holding up just fine. Good wrist support and lots of stiff padding up front. What lead me to almost returning them was the incredibly pungent smells of plastic and oil. I mean, I smelled them outside of the box they were shipped in. I took them out and it started to smell up our living room and kitchen (seriously). I ended up washing them with warm soap and water and left them in our screened-in porch area for about a week and even then, still fairly strong. Finally, I decided to just use them, once I did the smell started to normalize but even today they still dominate my training bag.

Great glove, love the versatility and performance
I hit the heavy bag for about 30 min 4 times a week. I’m switching from 10oz traditional gloves and the switch is very obvious when striking. I love having full use of my hands to answer phone or drinking from the water bottle. No need for wraps anymore, this glove does an excellent job protecting your wrists. As for your knuckles if you’re working a bag above 80 lbs your hands will be a little tender if your not accustomed. Overall great glove.

Much better than it's high end brother. Sizing is odd.
I originally ordered the higher end version of these gloves but had terrible experiences with them and sent them back to Everlast. These are the gloves if you want a cheap quality pair of hybrid gloves that will allow you to practice your striking and grappling without knocking your opponent's head off, and vice versa!Sizing- I would say the sizing of this glove goes like this, if you have regular to large hands get the large gloves. If you have small hands, women or just shorter fingers, then go with the regular. The sizing on this really has to do with finger length not width.Quality- From what I examined on both pairs of gloves I purchased there are no loose ends from the stitching and the material seems like it will hold up well. The fit is also unique and comfortable in comparison to other hybrids. For the price, this product can't be beat.

Great protection
Great gloves, some reviews complained about a "bad smell", I didn't experience no odd or unpleasant order from the gloves, they are great! Only issue I have is the size, I ordered a XL & the fit seems slightly small. My hand is 9inches width & my fingers still dangle out. Other than that I love them! Still provides great protection.

Good gloves...but
I bought these gloves for bag work as they were very convenient in case i want to drink water, wipe my sweat etc etc..However, i found out after using it for an intensive heavy bag workout that on punching the heavy bag that the attachment where you keep the fingers can hurt the webbings between the fingers...specially after an intensive hook shot practice (and im using hand wraps to protect my hands)On the other hand, it may help in hardening the mentioned skin webbings between the fingers after a month or three😏I give it 4 stars because you can use it for heavy bag work with the decent padding, but falls short in comfort as compared to regular bag/boxing gloves
