Do not buy. We had this a month and a day; started up our computer twice in this time and the day after the return window closed it stopped working. Waste of money. UPDATE:. I lost the original power supply for my laptop at some point. So I ordered this replacement. When I plugged it in, it powered right up and recharged the battery. What more can you say for a power supply? Oh, I am presently in the Philippines, where outlets are 220V instead of 120V like in the US. The label on the power supply says it works with either, and it worked here no problem. (That's been an issue with electrical devices I brought from the US.)

I got this adapter for my daughter's Alienware 13 R3 and it works great. I was concerned before placing the order because it was not specifically listed for her system, plus the input amperage was noted as slightly higher than on the original one, but everything else matched. So I got it and it works exactly like the original, with the same charging time (about 2 hours for full charge). One satisfied customer :)
