I wear a petite wig. WIll these be too big?

Hi! From my understanding, the petite head size falls between 20.5 and 21.5 inches. If you will be wearing these without the wig, I would recommend the Cotton or the Blended Knit if you want a very fitted fit. The Ruffle fabric has more elasticity and may seem less fitted for petite heads. Of course, this is a personal choice on how fitted you like your turbans. Lots of our ladies wear the Abbey Caps alone or with a halo/full wig, they look adorable over the wigs too. Does this product require handwashing?

If you don't wish to wash by hand, I would recommend washing on gentle cycle and lying flat to dry.

Can these be put in the washing machine and dryer?

Our Abbey Caps are made from specialty fabrics and should be cared for the same way you would care for your delicates. We do not recommend just throwing them in the wash. Please hand wash, cold, and air dry to maintain the fabrics luxuriousness and longevity of the item. Some customers choose to machine wash however, this is not recommended by the manufacturer.  If thrown in the Machine wash, just like other delicate fabrics, the fabric may snag due to the abrasiveness when machine washing.
