Very good light for the price (update 4/25/21)
I just received my Mars hydro light. I'm not always one to write reviews, but these guys deserved one. And my previous light was a king LED 1200 w, which used a lot of the reds and blues. I have been looking for a higher wattage light because I have been having low performance on my last few grows. I put this light in yesterday in the afternoon on the 11th of February. I checked it this morning on the 12th of February, it's like a switch was flipped on the tomato plant. I only wish I had it before a picture. In the one I showed I had to tuck more branches under the SCROG netting. Because they had moved so high they were getting closer to the light. It runs a little warmer and then the King LED. And the surfaces of it can get, I wouldn't say hot, but warmer than warm to the touch. My only gripe is that it seems to be a little weighted to one side. When I put it in my tent it leaned a bit in one direction. As far as I can tell it's that the third box which is the dimmer switch, and daisy chain box. It's on only one side of the light, it doesn't carry a lot of weight, but it appears to be just enough to make the light tilt. I fixed it very simply by using a small plastic box and adding weight to it, I rested it on top of the light, and it seems to work well. Simple solution. All in all the light is awesome, I can't speak to its longevity, I only just got it, but very impressed at the start. UPDATE I thought I would add an update to my review. It's now the end of August 2021, the light is still running strong. Still works exactly as it did. It's holding up perfectly, have not had one issue yet. Plants grow amazingly well under it. You can also put the light nearly right on top of the plant and it will not burn it. Granted you got to have good ventilation. I'm sure an obvious question people have, I was able to grow fruit that was incredibly dense, and very high in potency. I knew some purists who are very good at what they do, and they did not think an LED could stand up to HPS, and even they were impressed by the final result.

Great light for the price!

Works well so far
Good light. Used it for my garden starts. I cranked the light up to almost full thinking more is better, it actually started burning the leaves. Not from heat but from to much light. Started only using the power at just under half.

Great for the price!
I picked up this little Mars Hydro TS600 for my 2x2 tent and honestly, for the price (~$56), it's a solid starter light. What I like: Super bright full-spectrum light that my plants responded to right away โ seedlings pop fast, and veg growth looks healthy. Completely silent (no fan) and runs pretty cool compared to older lights. Easy to hang, lightweight, and uses very little electricity. Great value if you're growing herbs, veggies, tomatoes, peppers, or a small cannabis plant. A lot of people (including me) see nice results in small spaces without spending a ton. The downsides: Some folks report the light or power supply dying after 6โ12 months. It seems hit-or-miss on longevity โ mine is still going strong so far, but it's something to keep in mind. Warranty help can be mixed too. Bottom line: If you're a beginner with a small 2x2 setup and don't want to drop big money, this is one of the better budget options out there. Just use it with good airflow, don't hang it too close during flower, and you should be happy. Would buy again for a simple grow. 4.5/5 โ recommended for starters, with eyes open on durability.

The detachable driver to help with heat
So far I have only been running it at 50 percent but in a 3x3 it is a very strong bright and easy to keep heat down I'll definitely be adding edits as I go through a full cycle with it After a full run the light is very powerful and even coverage great but!!!! It does a fantastic job through out very pleased with this light and doesn't put out much heat with the detachable driver After finishing veg this light is a hoss very even coverage flipped to flower today will be back with more

Power of the Sun !!
Amazing! Well constructed. Durable design and components. One of the best belt things that I have ordered from the web in quite a few years. Its heavy. It works great! Our spring seed planting is taking off. So much better than the smaller red, blue, white grow lights we have purchased in the past. A definite recommend!!

Awesome buy, great quality!
Glad I made this purchase! I think my plant's are too. Came really fast and it was packed well. I opened the box and they even sent a sheet of stickers which I'm a huge fan of. Awesome light!

Complete Review - Outstanding Grow Light
I. The Mars-Hydro TSW2000 arrived well-packaged absent any damage. I have heard growers report their lights arrived dented or bent, and I believe them. For this particular line of LED lights the manufacturers decided to use a thin metal for the reflector as I'm sure this allowed them to cut costs without sacrificing the light's efficacy. My light, however, arrived with its vulnerable edges protected by rigid Styrophoam. My light came with a timer, which would have been extremely welcome had I not already owned one from prior grows, as well as a pair of ratchet hangers. It's always nice to have a fresh pair of hangers since they seem to be universally made from crappy alloy, which rust after one or two grows. The assembly instructions were unclear. At first, I was a little dismayed to see the instructions did not have a step-by-step breakdown. It was basically three illustrated panels with almost no annotations. Fortunately, this is not rebuilding a jet engine. If you just sit back and study the parts for a few minutes you'll realize there aren't too many ways it can go together wrong, but you'll want to pay attention to how you orient the drivers for optimal cable management. Once the new light was installed and turned on to full power, it filled my 3x3 tent with a nearly blinding level of light. This is obviously a meaningless way to judge the efficacy of a light, but nonetheless I was glad it worked and wasn't DOA. My Equipment: 1. 3x3 grow tent 2. Mars Hydro TSW2000 3. 4" 190CFM Exhaust Fan w/ charcoal filter 3. 4L Humidifier 4. (2) 6" clip fans 5. Four 3-gallon nursery pots (sturdy pro-cal type, might even be pro-cal brand) I drill extra holes in the bottom FYI. 6. Digital light timer II. Some additional info for grow enthusiasts: 1. I direct sowed into 3-gallon pots* and used no seed starter or rooting solutions. 2. Seeds planted are a 3-pack of Blue Dream Autos and my last Gorilla Glue Auto seed. I only water the immediate area over and around the seed, wait for it to almost dry up, and then gently water again. All four girls popped by the end of the 4th day. I am 20/20 sprouting seeds in this fashion. Finally, and very importantly, during the seedling stage I set the light at 75% and kept the light 30" above the pots. Any lower or any stronger and they would have suffered heat stress. *Pro-Cal pots with four extra holes drilled through the bottoms for additional drainage. Soil Used: 75% Roots Organic Original, 25% Coco. I find that Roots Organic Original already has enough perlite. I'll add to this review once the plants are leafed out some. III. I am currently mid-way through veg and all four plants are doing very well. I can now confirm that this light is quite strong, and is more than what vegging plants need in a 3x3 tent. At 24" and 100% power the tent climbed into the mid-80's (it's very hot where I live right now, even in the basement, so my extraction fan was a little overwhelmed I think). To remedy this I lowered the power back to 75% and the plants seem to prefer it. I had edge curling on the leaves of one of my plants before backing off the brightness, but that has ceased. At this hanging distance and power level there is zero stretching and their growth has continued unabated. I'll update this review during flower, and again, one last time, to report yield. IV. Plants are now in mid flower and have stopped the pre-flower/early flower stretch. I still consider myself only a late-beginner/intermediate grower, having only grown 20 plants so far, including these, but so far these plants have the best internodal spacing of the plants I've grown. Up until now I've used only two different burple brands--and they've worked--but they tend to invite stretching because their wattage and spectrums were not ideal. If anything, these lights are inhibitory for stretching because they include plenty of blue light and at least in my case, for my current phenos, the light is strong enough so the plants don't want to get closer than they have to. This has made for some pretty compact budding sites. I'm excited to see what the colas will look like in another few weeks. The TSW2000 is obviously strong, and provides a nice, bright sun-like spectrum. I believe it will prove out to be an ideal 3x3 tent light, as it is clear now it would have completely flowered all 9 square feet of my tent if I had added a 5th 3-gallon pot, which I plan on doing next time for sure. How big will the buds be? How much will its dry weight end up being? Only time will tell! I'll add a final section to this review once it's all chopped, dried and weighed. V. My four plants have been chopped, dried and cured. The yield of each plant was fairly uniform around 2-2.5oz. Total yield was 9.6oz of buds. Popcorn buds would push it to 11 most likely. The Blue Dream'atic potency was subjectively believed, by two different heavy cannabis users, as slightly stronger than the Gorilla Glue Auto, but both were considered quite potent. I barely smoke so of course both were quite strong to me. I generally only do edibles. Conclusion: This light is more than adequate for the home cannabis grower, and an excellent upgrade for anyone currently using old-school burples or other lesser grow lights.

cheap and works
I use these for veg clones once they get potted from the aeroponic cloner. They get warm so if you're not using them in a ventilated area then they will heat up. I've got 2 of these on staggered timers so they run for 2 hours and turn off for 2 hours while the other does the opposite. I'd probably buy a 300w MH over two of these for a small grow tent though. I bought these for lower power consumption but without losing efficiency for veg growth. These would be ideal if you're doing a small inside garden for hot peppers. I would buy one of these over the counter-top grow contraptions they try to sell nowadays for 200-300 dollars. Buy one of these lights and pot your small vegetables and run it on a timer and no stress. Just be mindful of the heat and potential hazards regardless of what lights you choose to use. Any good light gets hot from my experience

Fast delivery, good light
Light arrived where I am in Oz < 5 days after order. Was packed in 2 boxes - the second one was a little excessive in terms of dimensions, but it was well-packed. The accessory hangars/cord pulleys work really well. Appreciate the AU plug - it's actually a standard 3-pin IEC C13 connector, so replacements are easy enough to fine. Had a tiny bit of trouble plugging the power into the light array, so be aware that the hole drilled for the plug at the side of the unit is a very snug fit. I wasn't pushing it through firmly enough at first, but I gently held the other side of the plug receiver, gave it slightly firmer pressure and it went through and stayed snug in the socket. I find it a little strange that you get more info on this Amazon page than you do the Mars Hydro site, but check their recommendations here for light intensity - e.g. 25% for germination. I've got the light hanging fairly low at present, only 35cm from the top of the plants, so I've got it set at a bit over 15% (checking for about 8000 lux using a phone-based light meter, which is accurate enough). Anyway good product, seems to do exactly what it says on the tin, with a simple, good design with well-made components.

Great light, well built and efficient.
Great light for indoor seed germination/ seedling stage. Also works very well for the vegetative and flowering stages but bear in mind depending on plant size you can probably only grow about 2 full size plants. Works perfectly along with a digital timer plug. No dimming setting on this version. Great value for money in my opinion, very easy to set up and use just literally hang up and plug in. I will definitely be buying from Marshydro again perhaps one of the lights with more dimming settings. Highly recommend ๐๐ป

Very bright, doesnโt run hot and my capsicums love it so far. Only con is that there is no dimmer.

That's better
Just received and set up my new TS3000. Got it to replace my (so called)1200 watt King LED bluple light. The bluple light was ok for the veg cycle but doesn't have enough power to produce quantity or quality of buds. This new light is many times brighter than my old light. Set it up 3/4 through the flowering stage so I'm not sure if it will make much of a difference in this grow, but I'm looking forward to my next full grow. I'll update my review then. Very happy with the initial quality and ease of setup. UPDATE- Too late for last grow...Installed in my new 5x5 Mars hydro tent (awesome tent) 3 weeks in and the plants are loving the light. further updates coming. Well 5 weeks into flowering and the limitations of the light are obvious. As you can see from my 8th picture showing how the center of the tent gets the most light, Makes for a lot of lost product. More updates later. ,.
