Very nice dial test indicator. The face is very small, only about 1.25" in diameter but the meter is well constructed and very sensitive. Its movement is very smooth across its entire range of motion and it returns to zero precisely and consistently. It's a great little meter especially considering its economical price.

I love these little indicators. They work really well in general. About 8 out of ten come out of the box just perfect, a few are sticky or stiff, etc- send those back. You'll get a good one. I have some really nice Interapid, Starrett's and B&S but I like these for everyday jobs like tramming in a vise or a head. I don't think of DTI's as quantitative tools even on a surface plate really. These things work really well for the price. If I drop one or run one against a stop, or turn on the spindle - its not a catastrophe. Fills a great need for everyday use. They're actually pretty rugged. Great value for me.

Works as should and pretty darn accurate, the only problem I have is that the case, it was busted when it was delivered, so it now slides around in its case banging up the probe tip.

Nice little indictor for $16.00

I mostly use this for tramming vices and it has been very, very reliable for that. Accurate, good results, quick setup, everything I need and nothing I don't.

Worked for about 2 minutes and then the dial froze and would no longer move. You get what you pay for and unfortunately it’s not a lot.

Low quality. You get what you pay for. Good for crude or high tolerance applications

I use it everyday doing lathe work at the machine shop where I work. Good quality and excellent price. Very pleased.

I use this indicator for my hobby machining projects it dose the job.

My expectations were very low but it's a useable test indicator. The 5 rating is for the price. It's not like I had to lay out $300 for a Starret .
