I enjoy this for breakfast and it had no aftertaste . Good value in terms of price. It is a quality cereal.

Hard gross cereal
I was really disappointed with this cereal. Honey Smacks used to be so good. They'd be crispy when you bit them. But in the last 5 boxes or so of them including this box has not. When this arrived it was underneath other heavy items. From the first bowl the cereal was hard. It's a center hard not the outer casing problem. The inside of each piece is hard. You end up with a bowl of what I imagine sugar soaked uncooked beans would taste like. I couldn't eat them I threw the bowl after one bite. I don't think it is a staleness issue but they aren't fresh. I think it is just the quality now. They are not fresh or crunchy. Just bad and waste of the $2. Because they are sitting on the top of my fridge full bag. No one will eat them. These companies need to stop messing with foods. They were fine before. But not anymore.

Too good to pass up
I can't help it, I like sugary cereal. It probably the sweetest thing I eat a week, and yes, I go for a double serving. Oh well...

Just how I remember
This is one of the few items I can buy that I know for sure will taste just like it did when I was a kid. That's rare these days. It's still a high quality cereal. It's a pretty normal price for cereal and the box is just as big as I remembered.
