PERHAPS IT IS BECAUSE OF MY BODY MAKE UP; THIS PRODUCT IS THE BEST FOR ME TO ACHIEVE FLOW. THE AMOUNT OF THEANINE IS QUITE POTENT AS DESCRIBED. THE TASTE IS DELICIOUS, WITHOUT THE RICE IT WOULD BE VERY BITTER; TRY THAT SELLING POINT ON YOUR LOVED ONES. IT MELLOWS ME OUT WITH JUST A 1/4 TEASPOON FOR ABOUT 2 TO 3 HOURS. WHEN I KNOW I WILL BE OR I'AM STRESSED ABOUT SOMETHING, OR JUST WANT TO TAKE THE 'EDGE' OFF OF LIFE, THIS IS MY GO TO HELPER. THIS IS ALCOHOL WITHOUT THE NEGATIVE SIDE EFFECTS OF INFLAMMATION (DISEASE) , EXCEPT GREEN TEA HAS ALL THE HEALTH BENEFIT OF ANTIOXIDANTS AND FLOW OF MIND. I RECENTLY ORDERED A CHEAPER BRAND THAT CONTAINED PURE MATCHA BUT IT DID NOT MAKE ME FLOW, FLOAT OR ACHIEVE EFFIECIENCY IN THINKING PROCESS AND I DID NOT ENJOY THE BITTER TASTE. I EXPECTED, THE ALPHA WAVES (AWAKE, RELAXED) EFFECT. THIS IS PRECISELY WHY MEDITATING MONKS SAY THEY CAN SPEND DAYS WITHOUT FOOD AND WATER, BUT NOT THEIR GREEN TEA. I LOVE matcha tea. However it can get pretty pricey. Before buying this I was fully aware that it was only 20% matcha. Now, what I have to say about it, is its good for what you are paying for. When money is not tight of course I buy 100% pure matcha and of course I prefer that. But with that being said, I love having this on hand as a more day to day cost effective matcha. When you buy pure matcha your paying almost $20 for 1 oz, so when this is offering 11oz for the same price, people should use slight common sense and realize its not 100% pure. You get what you pay for. But, with that being said, I do strongly feel this is worth the price. Its a good fill in for the expensive pure stuff when I don't feel l can justify the splurge. It still has that great taste (maybe not as smooth as pure) and you still get all the benefits of it (of course not as much) but for the price, I can drink 2 or 3 cups of this a day instead of 1 every couple days of the pure matcha. Also, if you research it, many companies use the brown rice as a filler because its got its own added health benefits and doesn't take away from the taste or the health benefits of the matcha. From what I have read in China and Japan the term for tea cut with brown rice is called "poor mans tea" and lets face it, I can't afford to be spending $20 for 1oz of pure tea that at a cup a day will be gone in 20-30 days. Whereas this will last me MONTHS at drinking 2 - 3 cups a day. So I have no problem buying the "poor mans" version of it. Then occasionally, as a treat to myself, I buy the real deal.
